    Abstract: An air freshening device for attachment to a forced air vent is disclosed herein. The air freshening device having a vented housing, a reservoir containing a dispersible fragrant material, and an fragrance adjusting mechanism for adjusting the amount of fragrant material dispersed into an air stream emitted from the forced air vent. In one embodiment, the fragrance adjusting mechanism is remotely controllable, and the amount of fragrant material dispersed into an air stream may also be controlled by the angular placement of the vented housing relative to the forced air vent.

Upon impact, each of the structural elements absorb energy by moving towards an opposite support wall while adjoining neighboring structural element until the structural elements are compacting.
