  • Publication number: 20170081092
Abstract: A portable beverage container includes a base adapted to contain a liquid and a lid assembly that is removably coupled to the base. The lid assembly is reconfigurable between an open position, whereby a user can drink the liquid from the base at any portion along the circumference of the top of the lid assembly, and a closed position, whereby the liquid is substantially prevented from exiting the base, such that the lid assembly prevents accidental spilling or splashing.

  • Patent number: 9370594
Abstract: A method of retaining only compatible refills by a volatile material dispenser includes the step of providing a dispenser having a housing and at least one movable latch disposed within the housing. The method further includes the steps of providing a compatible refill that includes a container for holding a volatile material and a wick extending from the container and inserting the refill into the housing so that the refill actuates the movable latch into engagement with a structure disposed on a neck of the refill to retain the refill within the housing. The incompatible refills are incapable of actuating the movable latch, and thus, the movable latch does not retain the incompatible refills within the housing.

  • Publication number: 20140048511
Abstract: A drink bottle may include a container and a lid having an open-top channel with a spout and a spout cover disposed within the channel. Each of the spout and the spout cover are movable in opposite directions between a stowed and configurations. The spout may include a projection that frictionally engages the sidewall to control a rate of movement of the spout.

  • Publication number: 20110139883
Abstract: A volatile material dispenser includes a housing, a retention mechanism coupled to the housing, a first refill having a wick extending therefrom, and a first adapter removably attached to a portion of the first refill. The retention mechanism non-removably retains the first adapter to the housing when the first refill and the first adapter combination are inserted therein. When the first refill is removed from the dispenser, the first adapter remains in the dispenser such that a second refill with a second adapter removably attached thereto can be inserted into and retained by the first adapter.

  • Patent number: 7549561
Abstract: A stapler including a base having a first end, a second end, and opposite sides. A staple magazine is connected to the base for movement with respect to the base during stapling operations. A cover assembly is connected to the base. The first end of the base includes first and second hip portions such that the staple magazine and cover assembly are received within the hip portions. In some embodiments, the hip portions each include a cutout portion. In other embodiments, the hip portions each include a rib extending inwardly toward the magazine.

  • Patent number: 6073399
Abstract: A combination overhead support system and accessory board includes at least one freestanding post disposed in a substantially vertical position. The post includes at least one longitudinally-extending connector portion. At least one beam is supported at least in part by the post in a substantially horizontal, overhead position. An accessory board having at least one side face configured to removably support articles thereon and opposite first and second marginal side edges is normally disposed in a generally vertical orientation. The first side is detachably connected to the connector portion of the post to support the accessory board on the post in a cantilevered fashion. The second side edge is substantially free, and unsupported by the overhead support system.

  • Patent number: 5890621
Abstract: A drinking device adapted for use by young children includes a cap adapted to sealingly cover a drinking cup. The cap has a spout and a mount, and a valve cartridge removably attached to the mount for controlling fluid flow through the spout. The valve cartridge is removable for easy cleaning or replacement, and includes a valve holder that manually, frictionally pressfits into a barrel-shaped mounting flange on the cap. The valve holder includes a grip to facilitate removal of the valve cartridge from the cap. A valve retainer snap-attaches to the valve holder to hold a silicon rubber valve in place on the valve holder. The valve includes a head section with slits that define cooperating valve fingers that cooperate to selectively allow fluid to flow out of the spout or to allow air to flow back into the cup, thus allowing the valve to operate as a single and only valve on the drinking cup.

  • Patent number: 5884679
Abstract: A solution dispensing bottle assembly adapted for snap-locking to a water extraction cleaning machine is shown. The bottle assembly includes a bottle having a tapered neck with an adapter telescopically mounted on the tapered neck. The adapter includes a pair of flexible flanges having apertures provided thereon. In mounting the bottle assembly to a known water extraction cleaning machine, the flexible flanges receive inwardly extending lugs provided on the machine in a snap-fit interlocking manner. The bottle is quickly removed from the machine by squeezing the flexible flanges inwardly a sufficient distance to remove the opposed lugs from the flange apertures and then sliding the bottle assembly away from the lugs.

  • Patent number: 5836046
Abstract: A water extraction cleaner comprises a system for delivering clean solution to a surface to be cleaned, a system for extracting dirty solution and air from such a surface, and a housing supporting the delivery system and the extraction system. The housing defines a recess for receiving a pair of tanks, an upright front surface of the recess being complementary to upright rear surfaces of the tanks. The housing is also provided with a pivot surface spaced from the upright surface of the recess and engageable by lower end portions, the pivot surface being formed and disposed to hold the upright surfaces of the tanks in snug engagement with the upright recess surface. Each of the tanks may be mounted on the housing by tilting the tank to insert the lower end portion thereof into the recess and then rotating the tank to an upright position about the pivot surface.
