    Abstract: Additive manufacturing's reliance on embedded computing renders it vulnerable to tampering through cyber-attacks. Sensor instrumentation of additive manufacturing devices allows for rigorous process and security monitoring, but also results in a massive volume of noisy data for each run. As such, in-situ, near-real-time anomaly detection is challenging. A probabilistic-model-based approach addresses this challenge.

A method for extracting features for natural language processing comprises: accessing one or more tokens generated from a document to be processed; receiving one or more feature types defined by user; receiving selection of one or more feature types from a plurality of system-defined and user-defined feature types, wherein each feature type comprises one or more rules for generating features; receiving one or more parameters for the selected feature types, wherein the one or more rules for generating features are defined at least in part by the parameters; generating features associated with the document to be processed based on the selected feature types and the received parameters; and outputting the generated features in a format common among all feature types.

    Abstract: A toaster for bread-type food products includes a housing defining at least one toasting cavity having an upper mouth for depositing the food products into the cavity and a lower opening from which toasted food products exit the cavity. A perforate rack is provided beneath the lower opening and onto which the toasted food products are deposited as they exit the cavity. The rack is perforated to significantly reduce the surface area of the rack which might otherwise stick to the toasted food products. An imperforate plate is juxtaposed behind the perforate rack to prevent crumbs from the toasted food products from falling into the bottom of the toaster. The plate is spaced from the rack a sufficient distance to prevent any portions of the toasted food products from projecting through the perforate rack and touching the plate and sticking thereto. As disclosed herein, the perforate rack is provided as a wire form structure.

    Abstract: Impact protection headguards for athletics and in particular soccer players are provided. In one embodiment, a protective headguard is provided that includes a central pad for covering a portion of a forehead of a wearer. The central pad has a first side and a second side, and a first and second padded rib extending from each side of the central pad. The distal ends of the first and second padded ribs on each side are connected to form side portions that extend rearward from the central pad for covering sides of the head of the wearer. The headguard also includes a rear pad for covering an occipital bone of the wearer and an adjustment strap system which secures the side portions of the central pad to the rear pad.

The headcover includes padding having at least a front portion and a top portion and also includes a flexing section. The flexing section of the headcover is positioned such that, when the head strap is adjusted, at least a portion of the headcover flexes at the flexing section to generally conform to at least a portion of the head of a wearer.

    Abstract: A radial mandrel is provided having a plurality of alternating and interfitting large and small segments mounted on a pair of cones, which cones are movable axially toward and away from one another to in turn move the segments radially inwardly and outwardly between a contracted and expanded position. The radial mandrel includes an improved mechanism for axially moving the cones comprising a quill adapter and scroll sleeve adapted for use with a drive shaft of standard configuration. The scroll sleeve is formed with spiral grooves which engage the cones and are operable to move the cones axially toward and away from one another as the scroll sleeve is rotated.
