  • Publication number: 20240134357
Abstract: An industrial communication module includes a controller and a common interface coupled to the controller. The common interface is configured to couple to a plurality of different types of sensor modules. The industrial communication module includes protocol/output circuitry coupled to the controller and configured to provide an output to a remote device. A sensor module includes a controller and a common interface coupled to the controller. The common interface is configured to couple to a plurality of different types of industrial communication modules. The sensor module includes measurement processing circuitry coupled to the controller and configured to measure an analog electrical characteristic of a sensor and provide a digital indication of the measured analog electrical characteristic to the controller.

  • Patent number: 11960334
Abstract: Cable assemblies for providing electrical communication between hinged sections of an electronic device are described. The cable assemblies can include a cover that covers one or more cables that run through a hinge region of the electronic device. The cable and cover can be drawn over a mandrel of the hinge region. The cover and the portions of the mandrel can be visible to a user at the hinge region of the electronic device. The cover can be sufficiently rigid to guide a path of the cable and protect the cable from bending beyond a prescribed angle during rotation of the electronic device at the hinge region. The cover can also be sufficiently rigid to prevent ceasing or folding of the cover and the cable during rotation of the electronic device at the hinge region.

  • Publication number: 20170274809
Abstract: A winch mounting system includes a truck that has a bed. A mounting unit is removably coupled to the bed. The mounting unit has a slidably adjustable width such that the mounting unit accommodates a variety of widths of the bed. A winch is selectively coupled to the mounting unit such that the winch is positioned in the bed. A button is coupled to the mounting member and the button may be manipulated. The button is electrically coupled to the truck. The button is electrically coupled to the winch such that the button turns the winch on and off.

  • Patent number: 7552130
Abstract: A computerized method, program product, and a service that facilitates the storage of multiple rows of data in a relational database. If the data is clustered data, the method, program product and the service first obtains the clustered data from its source. An identifying primary key of the clustered data is resolved, and the clustered data is parsed, compressed and stored as a binary large object (BLOB). The BLOB may be stored within the relational database or may be stored separately. Storage and access times for large amount of data used in relational databases are optimized.

  • Patent number: 6148335
Abstract: A method of monitoring a computer network by collecting resource data from a plurality of network nodes, analyzing the resource data to generate historical performance data, and reporting the historical performance data to another network node. The network nodes can be servers operating on different platforms, and resource data is gathered using separate programs having different application programming interfaces for the respective platforms. The analysis can generate daily, weekly, and monthly historical performance data, based on a variety of resources including CPU utilization, memory availability, I/O usage, and permanent storage capacity. The report may be constructed using a plurality of documents related by hypertext links. The hypertext links can be color-coded in response to at least one performance parameter in the historical performance data surpassing an associated threshold. An action list can also be created in response to such an event.

  • Patent number: 4860575
Abstract: Apparatus for testing heads of internal combustion engines of various sizes for fluid tightness of the internal cavities in the head. The apparatus includes a generally rectangular retaining frame which is pivotally supported on two vertical end members of a base for pivotal motion about a longitudinal axis. A head support frame is supported by the retainer frame for movement towards and away from the retainer frame. Spaced pneumatic cylinders move the support frame towards and away from the retainer frame. Each of the frames have a plurality of transverse members whose spacing is adjustable to provide support and retention for engine heads of various sizes. The testing apparatus includes a test plate having internal cavities to match those of the engine head being tested. The plate and engine head are clamped together and sealed by means of a gasket between the head and the test plate while they are clamped between the support frame and the retainer frame.
