  • Publication number: 20240022399
Abstract: A system and method for generating a cryptographic key using a sequence of data segments selected by a user from one or more data resources. Raw data from the one or more data resources corresponding to each of the selected data segments, and the sequence in which such data segments are selected, is extracted and processed to generate a key. The key can be used for any cryptographic and authentication purpose. By enabling a user to select the sequence of data segments from the one or more data resources in any manner the user desires, the user can create a strong key, but also easily remember the underlying data resource and chosen sequence. This technique provides enhanced security while maintaining ease of creation and use of such security.

  • Patent number: 11765147
Abstract: A method for encrypting plaintext data is enclosed that includes operations of receiving the plaintext data, the plaintext data including a plurality of data portions, encrypting each of the plurality of data portions using a specific key for each data portion, merging each of the plurality of data portions together to form a single data stream, generating a data map of the single data stream, appending the data map to the single data stream, and performing a master cipher to form an encrypted distributable stream. Operations of the encrypting include: an additive operation on each byte of the first data portion using the additive table, an XOR operation on each byte of the first data portion as modified by the additive operation, a substitution operation on each byte of the first data portion using the substitution table as modified by the XOR operation.

  • Patent number: 10892889
Abstract: A system and method for providing a rapid, yet highly secure cryptographic application, to provide enhanced protection for digital data. At least one random value and Deterministic Sequence Generator (DSG) seeds are mathematically processed to create an initialization value (IV). The initialization value (IV) is mathematically processed with a user key to generate a set of initial DSG vectors. The initial DSG vectors are then inputted into a DGS component, and, using the initial DSG vectors, the DSG component creates an additive table and a substitution table. An initial internal working key is generated from the user key and the initial DSG vectors. An addition, an XOR and a substitution operation is applied to each byte of plaintext data in combination with the internal working key to enable the cipher to quickly and effectively encrypt the plaintext data. Once encrypted, the encrypted data may be stored in memory for subsequent use and/or transmitted to another party.

  • Publication number: 20160119135
Abstract: A system and method for securing data and information is disclosed. Multiple cryptographic paradigms may be applied to multiple length data segments to encrypt such data to prevent unauthorized use. The system and method uses pattern keys. At least one pattern key uses a cryptographic paradigm different from the other pattern keys. Furthermore, each pattern key has a given key strength and at least one of the pattern keys key strength differs from the one or more other pattern keys used in the process. The pattern keys are applied to the data in accordance with a key pattern which defines the sequence that each pattern key is applied to the data. The length of each data segment may vary one from the other and such segment length is determined in accordance with the pattern key applied.
