    Abstract: An improved faucet drain assembly for preventing damage to a faucet due to freezing of residual water in the faucet upon exposure of the faucet to low temperature conditions. The faucet drain assembly comprises a faucet extension member supported by the faucet, the faucet extension member having a drain bore extending therethrough which is in fluid communication with the faucet, and a fluid valving assembly disposed in the drain bore and responsive to the flow pressure through the faucet.
