  • Publication number: 20090063357
Abstract: A method of and system for providing opportunistic internet connections is disclosed. The method and system receive a request from a first electronic device having network account with a first entity to negotiate a connection for a second electronic device; determine a network account associated with the second electronic device; and automatically connect the second electronic device in accordance with one or more rules including determination of a tariff for making the connection.

  • Patent number: 6811291
Abstract: A processor that utilizes the presence of harmonic components in a noisy signal environment to enhance the desired frequency spectrum of the signal. Received signal and noise are filtered to separate the harmonic components of the signal. These harmonic components are then combined in a prescribed manner to form a multiplicity of combined signals with varying harmonic content. The combined signals are then further processed to establish a signal detection.

Date of Patent: November 2, 2004
    Assignee: Lockheed Martin Corporation

  • Patent number: 4607258
Abstract: An apparatus for removing correlated clutter introduced in radar video by standard video enhancers. A differencing network provides the difference between an enhanced radar video signal and the previous enhanced radar video signal appropriately weighted. This difference is a video signal with decorrelated clutter.

  • Patent number: 4489280
Abstract: A signal processor for detecting the presence of two signals whose over-all phase or frequency is related by a known rational number. The first signal of frequency .omega.M is raised to the N.sup.th power, while the second signal of frequency .omega.N is raised to the M.sup.th power. The two raised signals are then correlated, energy detected, and compared against a predetermined threshold to provide an indication when both signals are present. By utilizing the known frequency relationship between the two signals the processor yields enhanced detection performance over that achievable by detection of each signal separately.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4470048
Abstract: A range profile classifier wherein targets are identified based on the sequences of their received range profiles. Individual looks at a target are taken and it is assumed that the aspect angle of observation changes by no more than a predetermined amount. Correlations are made with reference data, which correlations are then summed recursively according to preselected restrictive criteria to obtain the most likely sequence corresponding to the target for which reference data is stored in the range profile target classifier.

  • Patent number: 4463356
Abstract: An apparatus for control of ground clutter breakthrough in MTI radar which remove hard limited clutter signals while allowing increased detection sensitivity to moving targets when such strong clutter returns are not present. Logic is provided to prevent the removal of strong moving target return even in the presence of hard limited clutter.

  • Patent number: 4394658
Abstract: An adaptive clutter canceller for adaptively cancelling clutter with non-zero mean Doppler frequencies. Received clutter signals averaged over a predetermined number of range cells and over an azimuth extent. The resulting averaged signal is used to shift the clutter spectrum to a zero mean Doppler and subsequently cancelled.
