Abstract: A method for improving adhesion between two adjacent layers of a laminate membrane includes annealing the laminate membrane at a temperature between an ?-transition temperature and a ?-transition temperature of at least one polymeric component of at least one of two adjacent layers for a time sufficient for the at least one polymeric component of at least one of the adjacent layers to partially diffuse into the other adjacent layer. A sealed, inflated bladder of the invention prepared from the laminate membrane can experience high strains without layer separation or peeling of the laminate layers, even at a seam.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for optimizing the time required for scanning a document with any conventional scanner. More specifically, the present invention will utilize calibration information from the initial power-up calibration or any other calibration, and the information from any previous scans to expedite or eliminate the need for future calibration requests. This process will save time for the user to obtain an optimal scan and increase the operable life span of the scanner by eliminating many repetitive scan cycles.

The caps have a circumference shoulder with O-rings. The O-rings having the same diameter as the diameter of the glass cylinder unfinished ends. A base and top parts, both containing openings for receiving sealing caps and the glass cylinder. Threaded rods are received by additional openings in said top and base parts. Nuts are affixed at the end of each threaded rod. The combined action of the nuts and threaded rods apply compression forces to the caps and glass cylinder for sealing in a simple and economic manner defining the system as a disposable apparatus.

The image elements comprise at least one still image. The program comprises logic configured to: determine at least one control setting, the control setting including the duration time for display of the at least one still image in an initial presentation; and automatically compose the initial presentation, the initial presentation including the plurality of media elements, the initial presentation based in part on the duration time for the at least one still image and the initial presentation based in part on at least one time stamp associated with at least one of the media elements.

Abstract: A system and method provide users the ability to quickly and efficiently transfer images from a scanner to an online web page. In particular, the system can be implemented as follows. A scanner scans an image in order to generate a scanned image. A transferring mechanism takes the scanned image generated by said scanner, and transfers the scanned image to a web device for storage. The web device is located on and accessed by a network. The web device manages and stores scanned images.

Briefly described, in architecture, one of many possible embodiments is an image capture device. The image capture device may comprise image capture hardware configured to capture an image, a network interface configured for communication with a communications network, and logic configured to generate a digital image comprising image data and configured to automatically provide the image data to the communications network for delivery to at least one specified display device.

In addition, the present disclosure relates to a method for receiving image data from an image capture device comprising the steps of receiving a device identification from the image capture device communicated in a universal image capture language, interpreting the device identification, and receiving the image data from the image capture device.
