  • Publication number: 20220058566
Abstract: A personal protection article (PPA) includes at least one sensor configured to sense one or more variables, wherein the PPA is configured with a smart tag to carry smart tag data. The smart tag is configured to be read by at least one smart tag scanner, wherein the computing device: configures at least one predetermined criterion with respect to the at least one PPA that is based at least in part on the one or more variables; receives the smart tag data of the smart tag for the one or more variables; determines whether the smart tag data satisfies the at least one predetermined criterion based at least in part on the smart tag data of the smart tag for the one or more variables; and processes a result relating to the determination of whether the smart tag data satisfies the at least one predetermined criterion.

  • Patent number: 10040621
Abstract: A filtering face-piece respirator dispenser 10 having a container 14 that has a constriction aperture 20 and a plurality of filtering, face-piece respirators 12 disposed within the container 14 in a stacked, at least partially-folded arrangement. The stacked respirators 12 include an outermost respirator 12a. The constriction aperture 20 is adapted to allow for the outermost flat filtering face-piece respirator 12a to be manually withdrawn from the container 14 such that the outermost respirator 12a goes from the at least partially-folded condition to an open condition, making the respirator more ready for donning.

  • Publication number: 20170091698
Abstract: Methods and systems for tracking compliance of personal protection (PP) articles in working environments. Tracking compliance includes providing at least one PP article configured with a smart tag; providing at least one predetermined criterion that governs compliance with respect to the at least one PP article in a particular working environment; tracking the PP article by retrieving smart tag data; and determining whether the smart tag data satisfies at least one predetermined criterion; and storing data relating to results of the determination.
