  • Patent number: 11483472
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a computer system and a computer program product enhance multimedia quality. The method includes receiving a plurality of sequential frames of a scene in a video. The method also includes generating dataframes for current frames and for a reference frame of the video. The method further includes comparing the dataframes for the reference and current frames. In addition, the method includes determining a quality metric of the current frames based on the comparison of the dataframes for the reference and current frames. The method also includes determining if the quality metric can be improved by altering the video in response to determining that the quality metric of one of the current frames is below a threshold. Finally, the method includes inserting expansion frames into the video in response to determining that the quality metric can be improved by altering the video.

  • Publication number: 20220335041
Abstract: An embodiment includes processing a dataset to generate a set of feature vectors that include a first feature vector corresponding to a first concept within a user's areas of interest and a second feature vector corresponding to a second concept within the user's areas of study. The embodiment identifies clusters of the feature vectors and identifies key features that most contribute to influencing the clustering algorithm. The embodiment selects the first feature vector in response to a user query, and then selects the second feature vector based on an overlap between key features of the first and second feature vectors and a degree of dissimilarity between the first and second concepts. The embodiment outputs a query response that includes the second concept. The embodiment also determines an effectiveness value based on sensor data indicative of a user action responsive to the outputting of the response to the query.

  • Patent number: 11461580
Abstract: One or more processors access a plurality of messages from a discussion community and determine concept topics and metadata of the messages. A graph of the concept topics and messages is generated with messages and concept topics as nodes and connection strength between nodes as edges. Distances between nodes correspond to computed weights of edges. A low boundary distance threshold is calculated based on the aggregate distances between existing messages and concept topics of the graph. A distance is computed between new concept topics of a received message and existing messages and concept topics. A distance between the new concept topics of the received message and existing nodes is determined and compared to the boundary distance threshold of the graph, and responsive to determined distance falling below the boundary threshold, an action is performed to anchor the new concept topics of the received message in the discussion community.

  • Patent number: 11443216
Abstract: A system, computer program product, and method are provided to conduct gap probability mapping to predict presence and location of one or more gaps in a corpus. A probabilistic model is formed to represent inter-corpora associations of objects, which the model leverages to process query submissions. As queries are received and processed, the model creates an adjustment. Subject to evaluation, confidence of the adjustment is evaluated, and a response correlated to the confidence is returned.

  • Publication number: 20220270598
Abstract: A baseline of behavior is determined for a population of users that interact with an autonomous agent that is configured to respond to natural language prompts of users of the population using respective user profiles for each user. An element associated with a first user that deviates more than a threshold amount from the baseline is identified. In response to the element deviating more than the threshold amount, the autonomous agent is caused to engage the first user unprompted regarding the element via an engagement that is configured to verify an association between the first user and the element. A response from the first user regarding the engagement is determined to verify the association between the first user and the element. A first user profile that corresponds to the first user is updated in response to determining that the first user response verifies the association.

  • Patent number: 11423094
Abstract: A system and method for assessing a potential problem associated with information in a document. In an embodiment, a document for analysis may be received, the document being part of a corpus of one or more documents stored in an electronic format. The document may be analyzed to identify reference(s) in the document, wherein the reference(s) are each selected from the group comprising a natural language statement, a reference in a first part of the document to a second part of the document, or a reference to or from another document. Based on the reference(s), a knowledge graph may be generated to represent information in the document. A risk assessment of a reference in the document may be determined using the knowledge graph. A visual indicator may be applied to the document that emphasizes a potential problem with the reference based on the risk assessment.

  • Publication number: 20220189643
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product to prevent misinterpretation of communications via artificial intelligence assistants. The method includes monitoring an artificial intelligence enabled communication. The method also includes analyzing messages, participants, and actions within the communication. The method also includes identifying critical data within the communication. The method also includes determining critical sequence data, where the critical sequence data is a sequence of conversation elements that contains the critical data. The method also includes predicting an uncertainty level for the critical sequence data, where the uncertainty level indicates an amount of uncertainty that the artificial intelligence correctly interprets the critical sequence data. The method also includes determining that the uncertainty level for the critical sequence data is above a threshold uncertainty value, resulting in critical sequence data that is subject to misinterpretation.

  • Patent number: 11354361
Abstract: Document discrepancy determination and mitigation can include marking a fragment of a first document and a corresponding fragment of a second document in response to determining a dependency between the first document and the second document. A discrepancy probability with respect to the first document and the second document can be identified based on a discrepancy measure, which can be determined by comparing the marking of the fragment of the first document and the marking of the corresponding fragment of the second document. One or more discrepancy mitigation procedures can be initiated in response to the discrepancy measure exceeding a predetermined threshold.
