  • Patent number: 6517442
Abstract: The present invention relates to an enclosure which has a plurality of utilities such as a portable ice skating rink, a wading pool, a volleyball area, and a garden enclosure. The enclosure has a pair of opposed sidewalls and a pair of opposed end walls. Each of the sidewalls is defined by at least one elongated sidewall member and each of the end walls is defined by at least one elongated end wall member. A plurality of corner members define an enclosed area with the end walls and the sidewalls. The enclosure further has at least one sheet member positioned over the sidewalls, the end walls, and the corner members. The enclosure further has cover members which fit over the elongated sidewall members, the end wall members, and the corner members to hold and protect the at least one sheet member.

  • Patent number: 5887831
Abstract: A cable support system for use on roofs comprises a cable support bracket with a raised center portion, having a plurality of spaced apertures located thereon, walls extending downwardly from said raised portion to form a channel therebetween and flange portions extending outwardly from the base of said walls having apertures at the end of each flange portion. The system further includes a roof pad to which the bracket is affixed with mounting means extending through the flange apertures. The bracket is mounted perpendicularly to the cables which are secured in position by snap in hanger brackets which extend through the apertures in the cable support bracket. A second bracket extension may be mounted above the bracket increasing the cable capacity. A substantially U-shaped cover is mounted over the cable and secured to adjacent brackets. The cover includes an upper surface and downwardly extending side portions.

  • Patent number: 5115260
Abstract: A cable strain relief device comprises a cable manifold having a pair of generally planar surfaces upon opposite sides thereof formed with a plurality of cable receiving channels extending generally lengthwise along the surfaces. The channels are spaced from one another transversely of the length of the manifold and are formed so as to undulate transversely in a serpentine manner to provide strain relief for cables such as fiber optic cables placed in the channels. The channels are sufficiently deep to permit the placement of two cables in each channel.

  • Patent number: 4439465
Abstract: A nickel plaque which may be coated with a suitable metal or compound to make an electrode for a fuel cell or battery is fabricated by directing nickel sensitizer, catalyst and plating solutions through a porous plastic substrate in the order named and at prescribed temperatures and flow rates. A boride compound dissolved in the plating solution decreases the electrical resistance of the plaque. Certain substrates may require treatment in an alkali solution to dissolve filler materials thereby increasing porosity to a required 65%.
