  • Patent number: 11948897
Abstract: Integrated circuits (ICs) that avoid or mitigate creation of changes in accumulated charge in a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) substrate, particularly an SOI substrate having a trap rich layer. In one embodiment, a FET is configured such that, in a standby mode, the FET is turned OFF while maintaining essentially the same VDS as during an active mode. In another embodiment, a FET is configured such that, in a standby mode, current flow through the FET is interrupted while maintaining essentially the same VGS as during the active mode. In another embodiment, a FET is configured such that, in a standby mode, the FET is switched into a very low current state (a “trickle current” state) that keeps both VGS and VDS close to their respective active mode operational voltages. Optionally, S-contacts may be formed in an IC substrate to create protected areas that encompass FETs that are sensitive to accumulated charge effects.

  • Patent number: 11944373
Abstract: An intravascular catheter for peri-vascular and/or peri-urethral tissue ablation includes multiple needles advanced through supported guide tubes which expand around a central axis to engage the interior surface of the wall of the renal artery or other vessel of a human body allowing the injection an ablative fluid for ablating tissue, and/or nerve fibers in the outer layer or deep to the outer layer of the vessel, or in prostatic tissue. The system may also include a means to limit and/or adjust the depth of penetration of the ablative fluid into and beyond the tissue of the vessel wall. The catheter may also include structures which provide radial and/or lateral support to the guide tubes so that the guide tubes expand uniformly and maintain their position against the interior surface of the vessel wall as the sharpened injection needles are advanced to penetrate into the vessel wall.

  • Publication number: 20240101258
Abstract: Examples provide a door assembly including a dual operation slide device for a sliding privacy door associated with a seat unit. The door assembly includes a sliding door movably mounted to a door support member of a seat unit. The door slides laterally between a retracted position and a deployed or partially deployed position. The dual operation slide device includes a trigger and release mechanism for switching the door assembly from a primary track system used during a normal operation mode to a secondary track system used during a backup operation mode if the primary track becomes jammed or otherwise malfunctions based on manual activation of a release lever or force applied activation. The dual operation slide device enables a user to return the sliding door to a retracted position after a failure of the primary slide units to operate in the normal operational mode.

  • Patent number: 11943336
Abstract: A method of encrypting and decrypting multiple individual pieces or sets of data in which a computing device randomly selects a group of seeds that it then uses to generate irrational numbers. Sections of the generated irrational numbers can be used as one-time pads or keys to encrypt the corresponding data sets. Intended recipients can then reverse the process using their allowed keys to access data for which they have authorization.

  • Publication number: 20240094889
Abstract: Computerized systems and methods are provided for automatically generating an application overflow tool that is dynamically updated and arranged to provide improved access to popular or recently used applications. These systems and methods improve existing technologies by generating an overflow panel different from a task bar, such that the overflow panel provides access to most recently used applications that are not on the task bar. As such, ease of access to applications is improved to increase user efficiency. These systems also improve the way computers operate by leveraging existing GUI layouts to reduce computing resource consumption, such as memory, network latency, I/O, and the like, that would otherwise be required improve access to applications.

  • Patent number: 11934241
Abstract: A fan device used with respect to a computing device. The fan device includes at least two fans that provide airflow for the computing device and a controller that adjusts the fans' speeds in an attempt to avoid harmonic vibrations of the at least two fans. The fan device may include at least one sensor, and the controller may adjust the fans' speeds based at least on information from the sensor(s) in the attempt to avoid the harmonic vibrations. The attempt to avoid the harmonic vibrations may also attempt to mitigate one or more of turbulence, pressure, over-heating, power consumption, or noise in, by, or around the computing device. Reversal of airflow may also be used. A fan bar that enables isolation of ground return noise may also be used. The controller may use sums of primes calculations, phase analysis, common divisor calculations, and the like. Also, associated methods.

  • Patent number: 11936453
Abstract: Multi-User Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) data transmissions are provided with a forward-predictive precoding matrix to mitigate the effects of a change in a state of a communication channel. First and second soundings are performed, at first and second times, to a receive antenna over a channel and, responsive to each of the soundings, first and second Channel State Information (CSI) are received. Based on the first and second CSI, a change in a state of the channel over a time period between the first and second time is determined. Based on the change in the state of the channel, a forward-predictive channel state matrix and/or a forward-predictive precoding matrix are determined that reflect a state of the channel at a future time and that are consistent with the determined change in the state over the time period. The forward-predictive precoding matrix is applied to a data transmission.

Consumed meals, insulin basal doses administered and insulin bolus doses administered to the given subject are received. An initial meal ratio parameter and an initial basal insulin dose used by the given subject are received. A predicted glucose concentration parameter is determined based on the consumed meals, the insulin basal dose, the insulin bolus doses, and the initial meal ratio parameter. An actual glucose concentration parameter is received. A set of optimal MDI therapy parameters are estimated using the predicted glucose concentration parameter, and the actual glucose concentration parameter.
