  • Patent number: 11921366
Abstract: A multi core optical fiber that includes a plurality of cores disposed in a cladding. The plurality of cores include a first core and a second core. The first core has a first propagation constant ?1, the second core has a second propagation constant ?2, the cladding has a cladding propagation constant ?0, and (I).

  • Patent number: 11381913
Abstract: Dynamic device speaker tuning for echo control includes detecting audio rendering from a speaker on a device; based at least on detecting the audio rendering, capturing, with a microphone on the device, an echo of the rendered audio; performing a Fourier Transform on the echo and the rendered audio; determining a real-time transfer function for at least one signature band; determining a difference between the real-time transfer function and a reference transfer function; and tuning the speaker for audio rendering, based at least on the difference between the real-time transfer function and the reference transfer function, by adjusting an audio amplifier equalization. For some examples, the signature band represents a wall echo or an alternative mounting option. For some examples, the echo is collected during intervals while the audio rendering is ongoing.

  • Patent number: 5566556
Abstract: Air is distilled in a distillation apparatus (13) associated with a heat exchange line (11) in which is circulated a heat transfer fluid under high pressure. A storage (20, 23) is supplied, at least intermittently, with gas in liquid phase; and gas in liquid phase withdrawn from the storage is raised to a vaporization pressure, and vaporized under this pressure in the heat exchange line (11). The supply of liquefied gas to the storage can be from the distillation apparatus (13) and/or from an external source such as a tank truck (29, 34). It is useful particularly for the supply of oxygen, nitrogen and argon under pressure to installations for the production of stainless steel such as electric arc furnaces.
