More particularly, this invention pertains to polyester compositions that have a sharp transition from solid to flowable melt, a steep viscosity curve with temperature resulting in minimal heating above the melting temperature for good flow and having minimal cooling requirements. The polyesters have particular utility in low shear polymer melt processes such as rotational molding, powder slush molding, powder coating and 3D printing processes. The polyesters are comprised of at least one dicarboxylic acid, at least one dihydroxy alcohol, at least one polyol, and optionally a multi-functionalized acid, alcohol or anhydride branching agent.
