  • Patent number: 8595075
Abstract: A biotransaction system. In an example embodiment, the biotransaction system includes a bio scanner that provides a first signal as output; a first device at a first location; and machine-readable instructions adapted to trigger transfer of data from a second location to a third location in response to receipt of the first signal by the first device. In a more specific example embodiment, the first location and the third location represent similar geographic locations. The first device is included in the bio scanner. The second device is positioned at the second location. A third device is positioned at the third location. The machine-readable instructions are adapted to facilitate transfer of the data from the second device to the third device.

  • Patent number: 7412321
Abstract: A system for selectively disabling a vehicle. In the illustrative embodiment, the system adapted to prevent high-speed automotive chases. The system includes a first mechanism for locating vehicle to be disabled. A second mechanism launches a disabling projectile toward the vehicle. A third mechanism employs the projectile to disable the vehicle by suffocating an engine of the vehicle or otherwise compromising the fuel/air mixture. In a specific embodiment, and an infrared guidance system guides the projectile toward a muffler of the vehicle, and a muffler-plugging agent incorporated within the projectile plugs a muffler.

  • Patent number: 6862572
Abstract: A system for facilitating interaction between businesses, independent delivery agents, and customers. The system includes a customer product order interface that receives customer product orders as input and provides a first signal in response thereto. The customer product orders are associated with a predetermined business. A look-up system for selects an independent delivery agent to deliver a product to the customer in response to the first signal and with reference to a distance between said delivery agent, the customer, and the business, and provides a second signal in response thereto. A delivery agent order delivery system for provides the selected delivery agent with a delivery order based on the customer product order in response to the second signal.

  • Patent number: 6368497
Abstract: A mobile oil recycling system adapted for use with an oil-lubricated combustion engine. The inventive system includes an evaporation chamber for changing the pressure of the oil from a first pressure to a second pressure lower than the first pressure. Metering holes in a textured three-dimensional evaporation surface at the second pressure allow oil to spread over the three-dimensional surface area and evaporate contaminants from the oil. In a specific embodiment, the system further includes a filtering system for removing solid contaminants from the oil. A housing contains and supports the filtering system and the contaminant removal chamber, and directs the flow of oil through the recycling system. In a more specific embodiment the housing includes a base having an oil inlet for allowing pressurized oil to enter the oil recycling system and an oil outlet for allowing oil at atmospheric pressure to exit the recycling system.
