Abstract: A coupling having male and female coupling members, at least one coupling lever pivotally mounted on the female coupling member and having a cam portion engageable in a groove in the male coupling member for releaseably coupling the male and female coupling members together, and at least one safety locking device for locking the coupling lever against accidental displacement from its coupling position. The safety locking device includes a reciprocally mounted locking pin or member, a spring for biasing the locking pin to a locking position where it overlies the coupling lever in its coupling position to block movement of the coupling lever to its uncoupling position, and a manually manipulatable lever member engaging the locking pin and pivotal to retract the locking pin to a lock-release position.

Abstract: An aiming device comprising a sight-supporting base adapted to be detachably secured to the central portion of the bow or a part of some other object, a rear sight positioned on the base, a light-emitting front sight, a member mounting the front sight on the base and being manually displaceable for adjusting the elevation of the front sight, and an adjusting screw and leveling pad arrangement for adjusting the base to a position where the line of aim established along the front and rear sights lies in a plane extending parallel to the bow and containing the longitudinal axis of an arrow in shooting position on the bow.

Abstract: A coupling is disclosed made up of a female member and a male member adapted to fit together. The male member has an outer peripheral groove and the female member has fastening means including levers swingably connected to it. The levers can swing into alignment with the axis of the coupling to clamp the male member firmly against the seal in the female member. An improved arrangement is provided for holding the levers in place. The arrangement includes spring loaded detent balls in countersinks. The balls project out the side of ears next to the levers. The spring may be leaf springs overlying the detent balls, urging the detent balls into engagement with chamfered edges of the levers. The detent balls prevent the levers from inadvertently rotating to release the coupling due to vibration or ther reasons.
