  • Publication number: 20220065647
Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods for providing transportation services. A service assignment system may receive a transportation service request from a user. The transportation service request may describe a transportation service having a start location and an end location. The service assignment system may select a first autonomous vehicle (AV) of a first AV type and determine a first predicted route for the first AV using vehicle capability data describing the first AV type and first difference data describing a difference between a previous predicted route for a previous AV of the first AV type and a previous planned route received from the previous AV of the first AV type. • Publication number: 20210095977
Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods for controlling a self-driving vehicle. A computing device may cause the self-driving vehicle to begin traversing a route. The computing device may detect that the self-driving vehicle is approaching an obstruction and determine to take a deviating maneuver to a revised route prior to the obstruction. The computing device may cause the self-driving vehicle to take the deviating maneuver and cause the self-driving vehicle to execute a revised route, the revised route including the deviating maneuver.

  • Publication number: 20190114707
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for introducing and removing blockchain based cryptocurrency tokens based on usage and demand for the cryptocurrency. An embodiment operates by transmitting, to a peer-to-peer network of computing devices configured to store a blockchain of processes, instructions for execution by one or more devices of the peer-to-peer network. The instructions comprise determining a rate of change associated with an exchange price of a cryptocurrency token. The instructions further include receiving an indication that a first amount of cryptocurrency tokens has been transferred to a recipient address of a plurality of addresses and generating a second amount of cryptocurrency tokens based on the first amount of cryptocurrency tokens that has been transferred and on the determined rate of change of the exchange price associated with the cryptocurrency token. The second amount of cryptocurrency tokens is allocated to the recipient address.

  • Patent number: 10251683
Abstract: A versatile intramedullary nail is constructed in two cooperating and optionally interlocking pieces, with a further optional annular restoration hub. The two cooperating pieces, when interlocked, approximate a long shaft, generally tubular in cross-section, with a recessed area on the male piece adapted to receive the annular restoration hub. The female piece is adapted to receive the flange of the male piece coaxially, and—unless a locking screw or bolt is inserted through the flange—the two pieces can rotate axially. Alternatively, the nail can be constructed of a single solid piece.

  • Patent number: 9336257
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a primary business object BOA is established along with a plurality of secondary business objects that depend from the primary business object BOA in a hierarchy. The primary business object BOA may place a lock on a secondary business object BOB and facilitate an update of data associated with the secondary business object BOB. The secondary business object BOB may then detect when a database commit has been executed, responsive to that detection, the secondary business object BOB may remove the lock associated with the secondary business object BOB.
