  • Patent number: 5021796
Abstract: A broadband, polarization diversity, monopulse antenna comprising a body celed current array and radial arm-coupled log periodic loop antenna in combination with associated mode forming, beam forming and feed networks.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 15, 1971
Date of Patent: June 4, 1991
Assignee: The United States of america as represented by the Secretary of the Navy
Inventors: Robert G. Corzine, Bruce E. Bolstad, John S. Johantgen
  • Patent number: 4901039
Abstract: A strip line circuit assembly consisting of a first and second strip line ch comprised of three dielectric layers having conductor strips on either side of the center layer and ground planes on the outsides of the outer layers which sandwich the center layer except for an open central portion which turns through a 180.degree. curved bend. The three layer first and second layer strip lines are separated by the single layer central portion and are sandwiched between three holding plates. The center holding plate has a curved end extension containing axially spaced channels which receive the conductors of the center dielectric layer on the inside of the end. One of the outer two holding plates is placed upon each of the outer dielectric layers in contact with the ground planes on the outer surfaces of each layer.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 6, 1989
Date of Patent: February 13, 1990
Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Navy
Inventors: Robert G. Corzine, Joseph A. Mosko
  • Patent number: 4609888
Abstract: A microwave direction finding antenna interface is disclosed which is cape of operating over multioctave bandwidth with an upper frequency limit exceeding forty gigahertz. The antenna, feed circuit/transformer and arithmetic network have non-interrupted TEM electrical paths of strip transmission lines (striplines). Further, a process of fabricating the antenna, feed circuit/transformer and arithmetic network in conjunction with the support means is described.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 2, 1980
Date of Patent: September 2, 1986
Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Navy
Inventors: Robert G. Corzine, Joseph A. Mosko
  • Patent number: 4525720
Abstract: A unidirection circularly polarized dual armed spiral antenna of a stripl printed circuit configuration is disclosed. The antenna is powered by a planar, edge connected, balun. The radial arms may be configured to spiral in any one of a multiplicity of different patterns and are not limited solely to Archimedean or logarithmic spirals.
