  • Patent number: 7673769
Abstract: A storage bin comprises a cover panel and a scoop. The cover panel may be slidably or rotatably moved to expose the interior of the storage bin. The scoop is stored internally in the storage bin and is exposed when the cover panel is open. The design of the cover panel provides advantages to consumers by providing a durable and versatile method of access to the contents of the storage bin. The storage of the scoop within the storage bin limits contamination of the scoop during storage and provides easy access to the scoop when the cover panel is open. A reusable labeling surface allows the consumer to conveniently identify a variety of stored items over the storage bin's lifetime.

  • Publication number: 20080136202
Abstract: A scoop includes an elongate side wall, a base, and a handle. The side wall extends generally along a longitudinal axis, and has a digging portion and a supporting portion that both extend circumferentially about the longitudinal axis such that the digging portion is circumferentially flatter than the supporting portion. The base extends between the digging portion and the supporting portion one outer end such that the base and the side wall at least partially define a receptacle having an access opening disposed at a second outer end. At least one of the digging portion and the supporting portion flares radially outwardly in a direction from the base toward the second outer end. The handle has a proximal end projecting outwardly from the supporting portion and an opposing distal end. The handle flares radially outward from the supporting portion in a direction from the proximal end toward the distal end.

  • Patent number: 7325682
Abstract: The storage case of the invention consists of a base and a mating cover. The cover is constructed of a first cover portion that is pivotably attached to the base and a second cover portion that is slidably retained on the first cover portion. To release the cover from the base, the second cover portion is moved to an extended position where the second cover portion is disengaged from the base. A plurality of drill bit cassettes hold the individual bits and are removably retained in a corresponding number of cassette holders located within the base. The cassette holders are connected to one another and to the cover such that when the cover is opened, the cassette holders are extended out of the base where they can be easily accessed. When the cover is closed the cassette holders are retracted into the base.

  • Patent number: 5823550
Abstract: A case for transporting exhibits and other materials includes a container having a bottom, two opposing sides, two opposing ends, and an open top. A wheel assembly is mounted at a first end of the container adjacent the bottom. First and second handles are disposed at respective ends of the container adjacent the open top. The first and second handles allow the container to be carried by two persons lifting on the first and second handles. A third handle is disposed at the end of the container opposite the wheel assembly and adjacent the bottom of the container. The third handle allows the container to be moved by lifting on the third handle and rolling the container on the wheel assembly. Integrally molded hand holds are also formed in the sides of the container adjacent the open top. To facilitate stacking of the containers, a pair of stacking feet project outwardly from one side of the container.
