Abstract: An artificial limb having two limb members connected by a joint is provided with rotator members, comprising one of the limb members, which are relatively rotatable about an axis extending along the limb. A locking mechanism is provided which is movable from a locking position to a released position. In the locking position, the locking mechanism provides a rigid connection between the two rotator members and thereby prevents rotation. When moved to its released position, the locking mechanism is disengaged from at least one of the rotator members, thereby permitting relative rotation between them. The locking member is disposed on one limb member in the vicinity of the joint and is connected via a coupling member to a fixed connection point on the other limb member.

Abstract: A food warmer and display case which is especially adapted for use on the counter tops of restaurants and the like is illustrated wherein a glass enclosed area is provided for maintaining food such as cooked chicken for fast food service, in a heated humidified atmosphere. A lower housing is provided for supporting the glass closure and is adapted to provide for shallow containers for water to be heated by means positioned exteriorly of the water receptacles therebelow in such a manner that the heating means may be separately removed from the housing. A one-way reflective element covers a portion of the glass closure for diverting heat inwardly toward the food positioned within the food warmer yet permitting visual inspection thereof from the outside.

In a pressure responsive mine having a casing and an arming and firing rcuit therein, a pressure responsive device mounted in the casing and exposed to the pressure of the sea water, a second pressure responsive device mounted in the casing, a fluid connection between the first and second pressure responsive devices, a third pressure responsive device mounted in the casing, a restricted fluid pressure responsive connection between the second and third pressure responsive devices, and a circuit making and breaking device positioned in the restricted connection between the second and third pressure responsive devices and connected in the arming and firing circuit.

Abstract: Compositions, useful as adhesives, comprise(i) an epoxide resin having glycidyl, .beta.-methylglycidyl, or 2,3-epoxycyclopentyl groups directly attached to oxygen, nitrogen, or sulfur atoms,(ii) as curing agent for the epoxide resin, either one of certain (cyclo)aliphatic amines or one of certain tertiary amines, and also(iii) a polymercaptan, and(iv) a polyene having at least two activated ethylenic double bonds, each .beta. to an atom of oxygen, nitrogen, or sulfur, the sum of these double bonds and of the mercaptan groups in the polymercaptan being at least 5.The compositions rapidly develop tack, so avoiding the need to hold, for a prolonged period in jigs, clamps, or other devices, objects being bonded together while the epoxide resin cures.
