  • Patent number: 10091076
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods of configuring a resource for network traffic analysis. An agent executed by a computing device receives an indication to record a browsing session. The agent records network activity data of the browsing session. The agent generates a data file with the recording. The agent transmits the data file and a request to generate a report to an analytics server. The analytics server receives the request and extracts the network activity data from the data file. The analytics server applies an event processing protocol to the network activity data. The analytics server generates a report and transmits the report to the client device for display.

  • Patent number: 10072859
Abstract: An inverted exhaust plenum module exhausts air from an enclosure into an ambient environment while mitigating airflow restrictions caused by ambient wind conditions, particularly headwinds impinging on exhaust vents. The plenum module includes wall elements that extend downwards from separate edges of two separate roof elements of the enclosure, forming a plenum between the wall elements that is open at the top. Exhaust vents in the wall elements exhaust air from the enclosure into the plenum to circulate into the ambient environment via the top of the plenum. By exhausting air into a plenum that extends beneath roof elements, the vents are at least partially obscured from ambient winds that might otherwise impinge on the vents. A wing element can be installed to induce exhaust airflow via lowering air pressure at the top of the plenum. The plenum module can be a separate module that is coupled to a structure.

Abstract: A data center can include at least one computing room, and at least one rack system disposed in the computing room. The rack system includes a rack housing and a plurality of computing devices mounted to the rack housing. The data center can further include a cooling system that includes at least one surface that is wetted with a liquid, and delivers source air across the at least one surface such that heat is transferred from the source air to the liquid so as to produce cold air. The cold air then flows into a cold air aisle and is received in the computing devices so as to cool the computing devices.

  • Patent number: 10061097
Abstract: A data center includes various sets of infrastructure modules which each provide a particular type of infrastructure support to support computing operations in the data center. Separate sets of infrastructure modules can be installed incrementally based on incrementally changing support capacity for the corresponding type of infrastructure support in the data center. Such incrementally changing support capacity can be based upon support requirements of electrical loads, including rack computer systems, which are inbound to the data center. Where support capacity for a particular type of infrastructure support drops below a threshold, a quantity of additional infrastructure modules which provide the particular type of infrastructure support can be selected and installed to increase the support capacity.

  • Patent number: 9997955
Abstract: A multi-input uninterruptible power system (UPS) includes a primary power circuit, a secondary power circuit, and a diode circuit. The primary power circuit and the secondary power circuit include rectifiers that convert AC power into DC power. A diode circuit is electrically coupled between the secondary power circuit and an internal bus of the multi-input UPS. The diode circuit prevents backflow of power into the secondary power circuit when electrical power is received from a primary power source electrically coupled to the primary power circuit and allows electrical power from a secondary power source electrically coupled to the secondary power circuit to flow to the internal bus when electrical power is not being received from the primary power source. An outlet of the multi-input UPS electrically coupled to the internal bus is electrically coupled to a group of electrical loads of multiple groups of electrical loads in a data center.

  • Patent number: 9891682
Abstract: Techniques are described for managing power in a computing system using power controller(s). Power consumption information may be received from power sensors that measure power consumption of computing devices in a rack computing system, or that measure the power received or distributed by power distribution components such as power distribution units (PDUs) in the racks. A determination may be made whether the amount of power being currently consumed within a computing system exceeds a predetermined threshold. If so, control signal(s) may be sent to instruct the power controller(s) to alter characteristic(s), such as frequency, voltage, current, and so forth, of the power being supplied to one or more computing devices or other component(s). The power alteration may occur at one or more points in the power distribution system of one or more racks, such as at one or more PDUs, distribution circuits, breakers, and so forth.
