The body defines a base, a plurality of sidewalls, and a top opening, and a plurality of flanges extend around an outer perimeter of the body. The sump pump crock includes a removeable lid that covers the top opening.

The body may also include two or more flanges, including at least one upper flange on the upper body that extends radially past the at least one lower flange on the lower body. Furthermore, the lower body of the sump pump crock may include one or more ports, such as to provide a lower location for attachment of components (e.g., a perimeter drain).
