  • Publication number: 20240135004
Abstract: A system determines a baseline cyberthreat-risk score for a user, and displays the baseline cyberthreat-risk score via a user interface. The system presents at least one cyberthreat-education activity via the user interface, and receives, via the user interface, at least one user input associated with the presented at least one cyberthreat-education activity. The system generates an updated cyberthreat-risk score at least in part by updating the baseline cyberthreat-risk score based at least in part on the user input, and displays the updated cyberthreat-risk score via the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20230130085
Abstract: A dispenser is disclosed that facilitates loading of new rolls of material and the removal of empty cores. The dispenser includes a cradle roller spaced from a pair of abutment rollers. As a roll of material is dispensed, the diameter of the roll reduces causing the roll to drop from the cradle roller to a collection device. A transfer assembly pivots with the roll so that the sheet material continues to be dispensed from the dispenser without interruption. Once the roll of material drops to the collection device, a new roll of material can be loaded into the dispenser for automatic transfer to the new roll once the first roll of material has been completely depleted.

Abstract: Provided herein are surface treated pigments and methods of making and using the surface treated pigments. The surface treated pigments can comprise a mineral pigment surface treated with a hydrophilic latex composition and a hydrophobic material, which produce a film on an outer surface of the pigment. The hydrophobic material can be selected from a silane, a siloxane, or a siloxane/silicone resin blend, wax, fatty acid, styrene-butadiene latex, or a mixture thereof. The hydrophilic latex composition can be selected from a straight (meth)acrylic latex emulsion, a styrene-(meth)acrylic latex emulsion, or a blend thereof. The surface treated pigment has a surface energy that is less than a surface energy of the mineral pigment alone, a water contact angle of at least 90° and a dodecane contact angle of less than 150°.

  • Publication number: 20220061996
Abstract: The present invention provides systems, devices, and methods for using two or more flexible bands to constrain shoulder and/or hip replacement components to reduce dislocation and/or instability (e.g., constrain the glenosphere against a glenosphere recess, or constrain a femoral head against an acetabular component). In certain embodiments, one end of the flexible bands are attached to, or are held by, a first ring (e.g., expandable ring, such as a snap ring) that is configured to be operably connected (e.g., via a humeral baseplate) to a humeral stem, while another end of the flexible bands are attached to, or are held by, a second ring (e.g., flat ring, washer, annular, hoop, or orbital) that is configured to be operably connected (e.g., via a scapular baseplate) to a scapular bone. In some embodiments, an outer sleeve (e.g.

  • Patent number: 8055449
Abstract: To determine fault transmissivity in a subterranean reservoir, fault structures in the subterranean reservoir are identified, and elastic impedance data is computed from well log data and seismic data. Normalization parameters that have a predetermined orientation with respect to the identified fault structures are computed, and elastic impedance flux values are normalized with respect to the normalization parameters, where the normalized elastic impedance flux values are indicative of transmissivities of fault structures in the subterranean structure.

  • Publication number: 20100102013
Abstract: An apparatus for storing and displaying bottles that includes one or more hollow column members configured to contain a plurality of bottles in a vertical orientation, and to allow the bottles to be gravity fed when a lowest bottle is dispensed therefrom. Each member has a back portion with a substantially flat surface configured for being in a face to face relationship with a wall surface to which the member is attached. A cylinder portion extends from a top of the member to a predetermined location along the back portion followed by an open portion below the extended cylinder portion and a bottom base portion spaced-apart from the extended cylinder portion. Each member has an opening at the top sized to insert each bottle. The bottom base portion at the bottom of each member serves as a platform for resting the lowest bottle.

  • Publication number: 20050005562
Abstract: A support tower for heavy loads or large structures such as a wind turbine generators, constructed of a plurality of telescopic tower sections with the outer lower tower section having a lower end supported from a foundation and at least one or more inner upper tower sections telescoped in an initial vertical nested relation within the outer lower tower section. The heavy load is mounted on an upper end of the inner upper tower section while in the initial vertical nested relation. The inner upper tower section or sections are then lifted upwardly to an extended tower height by lift mechanisms and the tower sections are secured in vertically extended position by inter-engaging wedge joint structure with bolt fasteners extending through mating wedge surfaces to retain the telescopic tower sections vertically extended and position the heavy load in a vertically elevated position.
