Abstract: A process for producing a treated wastewater stream from an initial gaseous wastewater stream. The process begins by condensing a gaseous wastewater stream into a liquid wastewater stream wherein the liquid wastewater stream contains at least one compound susceptible to treatment by chemical oxidation. Both a chemical oxidizer and a copper (I) catalyst are then fed into the liquid wastewater stream. The copper (I) catalyst with the at least one compound are then precipitated to produce a treated wastewater stream.

Abstract: A communication network (600) includes a first communication device (102-1) and at least one other communication device (102-3), wherein the first communication device (102-1) and the at least one other communication device (102-3) are proximately located. The communication network further includes a transaction detector (625) coupled between the first communication device (102-1) and the at least one other communication device (102-3) for detecting one or more transactions intended for each of the proximately located communication devices. The communication network (600) further includes a bandwidth allocator (610) adapted to impede communication activity for a predetermined time for the at least one other proximately located communication devices (102-3), and activate communication activity for the predetermined time for the first communication device (102-1) in response to the transaction detector (625) detecting a transaction intended for the first communication device (102-1).

Abstract: An External Insulated And Fixed System (EIFS) and method for making the same. The method provides a cost effective procedure for constructing an EIFS that can meet current hurricane high impact test protocol, especially for non-combustible EIFS “Systems”. A reinforcing high impact layer of fiber glass mesh is eliminated, and a high-density compression molded expandable polystyrene board is provided that yields significantly improved impact resistance.
