  • Publication number: 20240168500
Abstract: A flow control device is disclosed. The flow control device includes a solenoid, the solenoid including an armature. Also, a piston connected to the armature. The piston includes a primary orifice. The piston having an open position and a closed position. A piston spring connected to the piston is also includes and at least one secondary orifice. The movement of the piston to the open position at least partially opens the at least one secondary orifice and the movement of the piston to the closed position at least partially closes the at least one secondary orifice. The movement of the armature actuates the piston movement and controls fluid flow from the primary orifice through the at least one secondary orifice.

  • Publication number: 20080180395
Abstract: The computer pointing input device allows a user to determine the position of a cursor on a computer display. The position of the input device in relation to the display controls the position of the cursor, so that when a user points directly at the display, the cursor appears at the intersection of the display and the line of sight from of the input device. When the device is moved, the cursor appears to move on the display in exact relation to the input device. In addition, a cursor command unit allows the user to virtually operate the input device wherein changes in the position of the device allow the user to spatially invoke mouse functions. The computer pointing input device is designed to operate with a computer having a processor through a computer communication device.

  • Patent number: 4634422
Abstract: A percutaneous access device (PAD) is provided with a sleeve or separable member which may be detached from the device to enable the culturing of a multilayer fibroblast coating on the member in a stable and undisturbed environment. The member is constructed so that when it is assembled into the device and the device is implanted in a patient, the cultured coating of the member is exposed to the patient's dermis whose fibroblasts will, after a relatively short healing period, merge with the fibroblasts of the coating to form a barrier layer interlocked with the member to prevent epidermal ingrowth or marsupialization of the implanted device.Implantation techniques for further facilitating the formation of the dermal barrier are also disclosed.
