  • Patent number: 11952568
Abstract: The present invention provides systems, methods, and devices for electroporation-based therapies (EBTs). Embodiments provide patient-specific treatment protocols derived by the numerical modeling of 3D reconstructions of target tissue from images taken of the tissue, and optionally accounting for one or more of physical constraints or dynamic tissue properties. The present invention further relates to systems, methods, and devices for delivering bipolar electric pulses for irreversible electroporation exhibiting reduced or no damage to tissue typically associated with an EBT-induced excessive charge delivered to the tissue.

  • Patent number: 4406595
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, a pumping unit (10) is disclosed. The pumping unit includes shell structures (20, 22) each having a diaphragm (32, 38) therein to divide the pumping chamber within the structure into first and second compartments. One-way valves permit material to travel from an inlet source to the first compartment and from the first compartment to an outlet source. Deflection of diaphrams provides the impetus to draw material to the first compartment from the inlet source and drive the material to the outlet source. The motion of the diaphrams is induced by a reciprocating piston assembly (94) within a cylinder (84). The motion acts through intermediate chambers (110, 112) filled with pumping fluid and acting on the opposite side of the diaphrams from the first compartments. This permits isolation of the piston from the material being moved to prevent contamination.

  • Patent number: 4294484
Abstract: A camper for mounting on a truck includes a mechanism to assist raising a rigid top above a truck bed. Camper beds extend outwardly from the vehicle sidewalls and a tent frame including telescoping spring biased tent rods support a canopy over the bed. The camper is collapsible having a lowered position in which the camper is lower than the truck cab for decreasing wind drag. In a raised position the camper extends about two feet above the truck cab. The camper is a self-contained unitary structure that is easily shipped and installed on or removed from a truck.

  • Patent number: 4083596
Abstract: A topper for the bed of a pickup truck comprises a cover member pivotally supported to one wall of the pickup bed from which the cover member is pivoted between a first position wherein the cover member covers and encloses the bed and a second position wherein the cover member is supported substantially above the bed to provide access thereto. A support arm member is provided with its first end pivotally attached to the opposed side walls of the bed near the rear end of the truck bed. The second end of the support arm member is slidably engaged along the cover member. A spring structure is attached between the cover member and the support arm member and urges the second end of the support member to rotate the support arm member to an upright position. As the support member is rotated upwardly, the rear of the cover member is raised to provide access to the truck bed. In an alternative embodiment, both the front and rear of the cover member are raisable by pivoting front and rear support arm assemblies.

  • Patent number: 4079989
Abstract: A topper for the bed of a pickup truck comprises a U-shaped frame including side members positioned to extend along the tops of the side walls and a front member positioned to extend along the top of the front wall of the pickup bed. Retaining members are received in the stake holes of the side walls of the pickup bed to secure the frame thereto. A cover is pivotally supported on the front member of the frame and extends continuously the full length and width of the pickup bed. The side and front members of the frame comprise hollow rectangular tubular cross sections with the side members functioning to wholly enclose the retaining members. Each retaining member includes a cross-shaped bolt, the side arms of which are rotatably positioned and then drawn upwardly into engagement with the underside of the tops of the side walls of the pickup bed.

  • Patent number: 4003596
Abstract: The specification discloses interior assembly for installation in a pickup truck having a camper cover. A floor covering is shaped to fit the bottom of the pickup bed. The pair of elongated side panels are dimensioned to cover the interior sides of the pickup bed. The side panels include an integrally formed enclosure dimensioned to receive the wheel wells of the pickup bed. A plurality of cooperative rectangular cushions are dimensioned for selective arrangement within the pickup bed as a couch or as a bed. The various components and interior assembly may be conveniently packaged as a compact kit for shipment to and installation by the consumer.

  • Patent number: 3984140
Abstract: The specification discloses a couch structure for installation in a plurality of different models and makes of pickup trucks. A pair of rigid side panels are connected together along the bottoms and backs thereof by a flexible sheet. The side panels engage the sides of the pickup bed and the flexible sheet extends across the pickup truck bed to form a couch frame. A rectangular back pillow is locked in position between the side panels and the front wall of the pickup bed. A pair of side pillows are positioned parallel to the side panels. A second rectangular back pillow is positioned parallel to the first back pillow and a pair of rectangular seat pillows are stacked flat on the floor of the pickup bed. The second back pillow and two bottom pillows may be spread out on the floor of the pickup bed to form a substantially continuous bed.

  • Patent number: 3950010
Abstract: The specification discloses a clamp assembly for attachment to a truck vehicle bed having rectangular openings therein. A rectangular housing is dimensioned to be received within the vehicle bed opening. Flanges are attached to the housing to position the housing within the opening. A rigid elongate member is slidably received in an aperture formed in the top of the housing. A lock plate that is longer than the width of the opening is attached to the lower end of the elongate member and is rotatable within the housing between first and second positions. In the first position, the lock plate is aligned with the housing. In the second position, the lock plate is oriented across the width of the housing to prevent withdrawal of the housing from the opening. Inclined slots are formed in the sides of the housing to accommodate the lock plate during rotation between the first and second positions and in order to cam the lock plate upwardly during rotation into the second position.
