    Abstract: A catheter assembly for draining and collecting fluid from a body cavity has a container having an inner containment space defined therewith. An elongate tubular catheter extends longitudinally through the container. A tip member/lubricant reservoir is mounted to the catheter passage opening. A quantity of lubricant is disposed within a tip member/lubricant reservoir and lubricate the catheter as it is extended from the container.
