  • Publication number: 20130006713
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for aggregating pricing information and assigning a fair market value to goods sold in an ecommerce transaction comprising obtaining pricing information of a good, collecting pricing information of said goods from one or more sources, determining the fair market value of said goods by calculating a weighted mean average of the collected prices, identifying one or more sellers offering to sell said goods, displaying the results of said calculation and said identification using a computerized electronic device.

  • Patent number: 6739577
Abstract: A fluid coupling system is provided including a fluid coupling having a cooperative key coding system and latching mechanism, a valve biasing mechanism with corrosion resistance, and other advantageous features. The key coding system permits interconnection of only matched coupling members while preventing the inadvertent interconnection of mismatched coupling members notwithstanding the presence of many coupling, both matched and mismatched. The coupling includes first and second coupling members that are releasably slideably, axially interfitted with their passageways in fluid communication. The key coding system includes key coding elements on the coupling members that are axially movable into matched interengagement when the coupling members are matched but are precluded from moving into matched interengagement when they are mismatched, all without rotation of the couplings or the key coding elements irrespective of the relative rotational positions of the couplings members or coding elements.

  • Patent number: 6523861
Abstract: A fluid coupling including coded and non-coded embodiments and a method for their use. The coded embodiment allows connection of such lines while preventing the inadvertent connection of mismatched lines in a system where there are matched and mismatched delivery and supply lines. Both embodiments of the coupling include axially movable first and second coupling members and a radially operating latch. The coupling members are releasably slideably, axially interfitted with their fluid passageways in communication, and the latch moves radially of the passageways to secure the couplings when they are interfitted. In the coded embodiment, key coding elements on the coded coupling members are movable into matched interengagement when the supply and delivery lines are matched but are precluded from moving into matched interengagement when the lines are mismatched.

  • Patent number: 4994008
Abstract: A container blank forming machine is disclosed which allows an operator to quickly form container blanks in accordance with operator selected container type and dimensions. The preferred machine includes a framework having a flat stock support bed, selectively activatable and shiftable cutting heads, a computer, and a touch screen monitor. In operation, the computer causes the monitor to display a selection of container types to which the operator responds with a selection and specific finished container dimension data. The operator then enters flat stock into the machine which automatically cuts and scores the flat stock to form a completed container blank in accordance with the container type selection and dimensions provided by the operator.

  • Patent number: 4114834
Abstract: An improved tape drive system for an apparatus (a telephone answering device in the exemplary, preferred embodiment of this invention) which employs one or more dual reel tape cassettes or cartridges. The tape drive system of the present invention requires only a single motor and a single solenoid for providing all operating functions of the apparatus. One lever (a broadcast lever) is pivotably mounted on a base or chassis and carries a broadcast pinch roller mechanism and a broadcast record/playback head. A second lever (an incoming call recording or "ICR" lever) is pivotably mounted on the first lever and carries an ICR pinch roller and an ICR record/playback head. The broadcast, ICR and rewind operating modes of the apparatus are provided by a single motor and a single solenoid.
