Abstract: A load lifting apparatus with base frame that has elements to engage a surface which supports the load lifting apparatus. A plurality of lift posts ate attached to and extend upward from the base frame. A load platform for supporting an object being lifted can be raised and lowered with respect to the base frame. The load platform includes a motor arrangement which rotationally drives a plurality of reels. A plurality of flexible ties are connected to the plurality of lift posts and wind onto and unwind gfrom plurality of reels.

Abstract: An apparatus for loading and unloading a vehicle with cargo includes tracks mounted to the vehicle and a plurality of hangers attached to travel along the tracks. A platform, for supporting the cargo, is suspended on ties from the hangers and has an elevator mechanism that winds and unwinds the ties on reels to raise and lower the platform. At least one stabilizer engages and inhibits the platform from swinging while being raised and lowered by the ties. Several moveable track assemblies also are disclosed.

Abstract: A trailer has a load carrying bed to which a carriage frame and a coupling are slideably attached to opposite sides. Actuators are provided to move the bed with respect to both the carriage frame and the coupling. At least one wheel is attached to the carriage frame to support the utility trailer on the ground. When the coupling is connected to a hitch on a motor vehicle, operating the actuators lowers the bed against the ground to facilitate loading and unloading and raises the bed to enable the trailer to travel.

Abstract: A frame with a pair of primary tracks is positioned on a vehicle. A platform is connected by a plurality of flexible ties to a like plurality of hangers which travel along the primary tracks. An elevator mechanism winds the flexible ties onto reels to rise the platform toward the primary tracks and unwinds the flexible ties to lower the platform. Extension tracks can be removably aligned with the primary tracks to project beyond the vehicle. By moving the hangers onto the extension tracks, the platform can be removed from the vehicle and then lowered to the ground. The reverse process is employed to move the platform and objects thereon from the ground into the vehicle. The extension tracks with the hangers and platform attached thereto can be detached from the primary tracks and placed on a free standing frame to raise and lower the platform remote from the vehicle.
