Abstract: This disclosure relates to a method of using a traction-enhancing device to enhance the traction between a sole of a shoe and a hard court athletic surface. The method includes rolling an adhesive roll of the traction-enhancing device against the sole of the shoe. The rolling process encourages the transfer of particulates from portions of the sole to the adhesive roll, where enough particulates are removed with a few back and forth rolls of the adhesive roll to at least slightly enhance the traction between the shoe sole and the athletic surface.
