  • Publication number: 20180316145
Abstract: A device, system, and method for connecting a peripheral device to a power source. The device may include a housing including a first portion coupled to a second portion, the first portion including a face portion and an edging portion, the edging portion edging portion defining the housing thickness. The housing may have an internal chamber, within which may be a circuitry component, at least a portion of at least one plug component, at least one connection port in the housing edging portion, and a light source within the housing interior chamber. Further, each connection port may have a connection port cover that is configured to selectively obstruct or unobstruct the connection port by the application of a minimum amount of activation force against the connection port cover.

  • Publication number: 20180250557
Abstract: A system and device system for controlling a height of a levitated object based on a height selection made by a user. The system includes a user input device configured to receive the height selection made by the user, a base in communication with the user input device, and a power source. The base includes a magnet array having a central electromagnet configured to exert an adjustable magnetic force in a first direction, a plurality of peripheral electromagnets each being configured to exert an adjustable magnetic force in the first direction, and a permanent magnet being configured to exert a non-adjustable magnet force in a second direction at least substantially opposite the first direction. The power source is configured to deliver an adjustable current to the magnet array, such that adjustment of the current controls the levitation height of the object.

  • Patent number: 5246286
Abstract: A tool cabinet is formed without the use of fasteners or weldments by providing back and side panel sections in an integral unit having top and bottom flanges, and separate top and bottom panel sections having attachment flanges adapted to be interfitted with the flanges on the back and side panel unit to form an open-front housing. Three continuous loop frame members are spaced apart front-to-back inside the housing and are adhesively secured to the top, bottom and side panel sections and support drawer assemblies mounted in a front opening. A lock bar guide is adhesively secured to the back panel section and receives a lock bar which is inserted through a notch in the bottom panel section after the housing has been assembled. Adhesive or frictional interengagement may also be used to secure together the flanges of the panel sections. An internal framework comprising a single, wide loop frame member with spaced-apart ribs is also disclosed.
