  • Publication number: 20160213492
Abstract: A prosthesis impactor assembly is provided having an impactor handle, an adaptor separate from the impactor handle, a connector rotatably secured within the adaptor, and a locking mechanism to lock the adaptor and connector to the impactor handle. The connector has a prosthesis connector member for connecting to the acetabular cup at one end, and a drive connector at an opposing end. The adaptor is received by a receiver of the impactor handle and is locked in place with the locking mechanism. The adaptor and impactor handle further have timing members to properly align the adaptor with respect to the impactor handle.

  • Patent number: 5682623
Abstract: A portable, collapsible toilet made of a blank of foldable material and having a row of four side-by-side panels (10), (14), (16), (18) connected by three fold lines (48), (50), (52) to define front, rear and opposed side panels. A top panel 12 is secured to the rear panel (18) by a fold line (28) and includes an opening (20) that may be closed by an integral lid (22). When assembled in a rectangular configuration, a plastic bag (96) may be nested between the panels (10), (14), (16), (18) and the top panel (12) closed thereon.

  • Patent number: 5476160
Abstract: An improved double-wrap brake band having a bracket member (16) consisting of an apply bracket (20), a reaction bracket (22), and a connector bracket (24) secured to three generally parallel bands (12A, 12B, 12C). The bands (12A, 12B, 12C) include a plurality of position oriented non-circular slots (36) designed to accept corresponding non-circular extruded tabs (44) extending from the bracket member (16). Each of the tabs has a longitudinal curvature that is substantially radially parallel to the annular inner peripheral surface (42) of the bracket member (44) and the annular inner peripheral surface (15) of the strap member (10). The tabs (44), after clinching, serve to retain the bracket member (16) securely on the bands (12A, 12B, 12C).

  • Patent number: 5381876
Abstract: A transmission brake band (10) for use in automatic transmissions includes strap member (12) with an apply bracket (18) located at one end and a reaction bracket (20) located at the opposed end. The reaction bracket (20) is formed from the strap material as an up-raised dome (36) surrounding the reaction opening (32). The surface of the dome (36) immediately surrounding the reaction opening (32) is substantially planar and perpendicular to a longitudinal axis defined by the reaction opening (32).
