Abstract: A refrigerator includes a door that is vertically adjustable via a height adjustable door hinge assembly. The door hinge assembly includes a bracket member having a mounting aperture with a hinge shaft extending upwardly from the bracket member as received in the mounting aperture. A hinge bushing is comprised of an inner portion that is received in an outer portion and fixedly coupled thereto to define a receiving channel disposed therebetween. The hinge shaft is received in the receiving channel of the hinge bushing in assembly. A set screw is threadingly coupled to a threaded aperture disposed in an inner cavity of the hinge shaft. In assembly, the set screw abuts a lower surface of the inner portion of the hinge bushing to vertically adjust a position of the hinge bushing as a vertical position of the set screw is adjusted.

Abstract: A refrigerating appliance includes a cabinet structure having an inner liner defining an interior compartment. A drawer includes a panel member and a sliding structure that extends between the panel member and the cabinet structure. The sliding structure serves to operably dispose the panel member between extended and retracted positions of the drawer. A drawer liner is selectively positioned approximate the drawer and is engaged with the panel member. The drawer liner includes opposing sides that define first and second channels, respectively, wherein the first and second channels extend over portions of the sliding structure. A wire chase is defined within at least one of the first and second channels wherein electrical wiring extends from the cabinet structure and to the panel member through the wire chase.

Abstract: A dishwasher comprises a tub formed as a molded plastic structure having a bottom wall joined to a plurality of vertical walls, and a top wall joined to upper ends of the vertical walls, so as to define a wash chamber, a front side of the tub defining an opening for access to the wash chamber; (b) a door for closing the opening in the front side of the tub; (c) a hinge support member integrally molded with the tub and located proximate the front edge of the bottom wall of the tub; and (d) a pair of hinge plates respectively secured to the opposite side edges of the door and pivotally engaged with the hinge support member on the tub to enable the door to pivot relative to the tub about a horizontal pivot axis defined by the hinge support member.

Abstract: A cord guard has a power cord confining tube formed from a pair of wall members each of which has a series of stepwise and spirally extending wall panels. The panels of one of the wall members intertwines with the panels of the other of the wall members and both horizontal and vertical gaps are located between adjacent panels. In use, the tube readily flexes to a limited extent as needed by a spreading apart of the panel section margins that form the horizontal gaps.
