  • Patent number: 5658608
Abstract: The invention provides a device for compacting and separating material. The main components of the device are a hollow housing sealable at one end by a removable cap, a cylindrical housing having a threaded exterior for compressing material within the housing movably mounted to the other end of the hollow housing, and a plurality of separating members slidably positioned within the hollow housing. A portion of material is placed within the hollow housing, followed by a separating member, followed by another portion of material, and optionally another separating member. After the material is compressed within the hollow housing, the end is opened and the compressed portions of material are removed from the hollow housing, The compressed portions of material are maintained separated from one another by the separating members, An alignment and guidance system may be employed to maintain separating members in a level manner during operation.

  • Patent number: 5107727
Abstract: A device for removing a cap from a container. The main components include an upper disc, a lower disc and a means for removably attaching the lower disc to the cap of the container. The upper disc has an aperture centrally located therein and a first pin protruding therefrom, and the lower disc has a slot therein and a second pin centrally located protruding therefrom. When the second pin of the lower disc is inserted in the aperture of the upper disc, the first pin of the upper disc is inserted into and is capable of freely rotating through the slot in the lower disc. When the device is attached to a container cap and the upper disc is manually actuated, the first pin freely rotates through the slot until it reaches the end of the slot and contacts a portion of the lower disc and exerts a force on the lower disc. This force in turn exerts a force on the attachment means and on the cap, thus removing the cap.

  • Patent number: 4836060
Abstract: A device for providing a simple and effortless removal of a cork or stopper from its container. The present invention comprisess a partially threaded cylindrical shaft, said shaft adapted at one end to support a pin placed through and protruding from its diameter. The shafts opposite end is provided with a common corkscrew tip and a ball shaped housing to accomodate varying container rims. A threaded and slotted ball is used to communicate with said pin and shaft threadings, whereby a continuous clockwise rotation of the ball, penetrates and removes the cork or stopper.

  • Patent number: 4656773
Abstract: A device relating to a breakdown sport fishing rod, to better utilize the energy applied to casting a weight. The device having a fishing rod butt section supporting an adjustable rotating spool at its tip end. The spool has an attached cylindrical appendage capable of receiving interchangeable rod blanks. The appendage also adapted to support and provide adjustments for a pulley. The pulley communicating by means of elastomers and or cables with one or a pair of pulleys placed in a second adjustable environment on an additional appendage. This appendage is one of a flexible variety and supported by said rod butt section. The present invention induces an exaggeration of rod action, resulting in an increase in the rods recoil power and velocity, providing a longer cast of common fishing projectiles.

  • Patent number: 4528554
Abstract: A signalling device that can be attached to a fishing rod and an ice fishing tip up, to alert the angler to the strike or biting of a fish, by means of an oscilating luminous signal. A cylindrical housing having a removable circuit breaking plug or insert said plug incorporating an attached slotted ring to comfortably retain fishing line and to loop around the flag stem hanger of a tip up. The pressure of a hooked fish removes the plug which completes the circuit thus illuminating the signal.
