  • Publication number: 20240111578
Abstract: A method for hierarchical work scheduling includes consuming a work item at a first scheduling domain having a local scheduler circuit and one or more workgroup processing elements. Consuming the work item produces a set of new work items. Subsequently, the local scheduler circuit distributes at least one new work item of the set of new work items to be executed locally at the first scheduling domain. If the local scheduler circuit of the first scheduling domain determines that the set of new work items includes one or more work items that would overload the first scheduling domain with work if scheduled for local execution, those work items are distributed to the next higher-level scheduler circuit in a scheduling domain hierarchy for redistribution to one or more other scheduling domains.

  • Patent number: 11636237
Abstract: A method is provided for compressing a binary geometry file for a structural product. The method includes accessing the binary geometry file that contains a geometric model of a structural product that is formed of component parts, the geometric model including an assembly of geometric models of instances of the component parts. The method includes identifying the component parts of the structural product, and generating a master binary geometry file for the structural product that contains geometric models of the component parts. The method includes applying the binary geometry file to a coder that generates a corresponding compressed binary geometry file. The coder searches the binary geometry file for the geometric models of the instances of the component parts, and substitutes references to respective ones of the geometric models of the component parts in the master binary geometry file.

  • Patent number: 11526847
Abstract: A method is provided for reconfiguring a vehicle for transfer from a first operator to a second operator. The method includes accessing first datasets that define an initial configuration of the vehicle, importing second datasets that describe maintenance, repair or service of the vehicle during in-service operation with the first operator, and generating a first composite dataset defining a current configuration of the vehicle. The method also includes accessing third datasets that define requirements of the vehicle for in-service operation with the second operator, and generating a second composite dataset that defines a target configuration of the vehicle from the first composite dataset and based on data of the third datasets.

  • Publication number: 20190322389
Abstract: Systems and methods for creating airplane interior modification packages and associated proposals. The method for creating modification packages comprises the following steps: (a) interacting with a user interface presented on a display screen to select a specific airplane type and a specific airplane of the specific airplane type, which specific airplane has an initial interior configuration; (b) interacting with the user interface to select parts to be removed from and parts to be added to the initial interior configuration of the specific airplane to create a modified interior configuration; (c) extracting change results data identifying parts selected for removal and parts selected for addition; (d) creating a modification package that includes drawings and documentation relevant to removing or adding the parts identified by the change results data; and (e) delivering the modification package to an authorized party associated with the specific airplane.

  • Publication number: 20190102810
Abstract: Example computing systems perform functions for calculating a sum representing a value of a system component or a structural component of an aircraft. The functions may include identifying the component for analysis and assigning numerical ratings that pertain to how the component relates to respective criteria. The criteria may include one or more of whether the component is described in an illustrated parts catalog, a reorder lead time, a component class, a price, whether repairing or replacing the component requires taking an aircraft out of service, a quantity of repair authorizations that have been issued for the component, or a quantity of communications regarding the component. The functions may further include calculating a sum of the assigned ratings and, based on determining that the sum exceeds (or is less than) a threshold value, initiating (or ceasing) a process to retrieve or curate one or more instances of the component.
