  • Patent number: 11612848
Abstract: A scrubbing assembly for treating malodorous air by chemical scrubbing one or more chemical components from an influent airflow, particularly one or more chemical components that have become airborne from chemical intervention solutions used during food processing, such as vapors from peroxycarboxylic acid solutions used during food processing. The peroxycarboxylic acid vapors are removed from air in a continuous manner within the scrubber assembly utilizing a neutralizing chemical solution to provide a treated effluent airflow that can be returned back to the point of use area from which the malodorous air was removed for treatment.

  • Patent number: 5419521
Abstract: A three-axis stabilized platform is disclosed wherein the azimuth, or train axis, a cross-level axis and an elevation axis intersect each other at a substantially common pivot point. Each axis supports a pivotable member which includes sensing and drive means for correcting the position of that member to maintain the direction of an antenna toward an aiming point in space. Azimuth post rotates or pivots about the azimuth or train axis and is cantilevered from a support base so that the post extends vertically and radially inwardly from the base to provide pivot supports at its outer end and in planes perpendicular to each other and perpendicular to the plane of the azimuth axis.

  • Patent number: 4582291
Abstract: A compositely statically balanced mechanically stabilized platform system including a stabilizing platform having at least one pivotal axis, an equipment platform, a supporting structure, a pendulum, non-rigid means for orienting the platform with respect to the pendulum, a gyro assembly mounted for rotation about a precession axis perpendicular to a pivotal axis of the platform. The gyro assembly itself is statically balanced about its precession axis and has restraining means for orienting the spin axis of the gyro with respect to the gyro assembly supports. The system further includes an equipment platform preferably mounted remotely from the platform and mechanically connected thereto by a linkage assembly which transmits motion of the stabilizing assembly to the equipment platform. In one embodiment the system is constructed as a single integrated unit. In several embodiments the gyro azimuth frame is supported on bearings which permit unrestrained rotation in the azimuth plane.
