Publication number: 20080150407Abstract: A sliding drawer assembly includes a cabinet frame, a drawer, a drawer handle, and a catch member. The drawer is slideably coupled to the cabinet frame. The drawer includes a front wall and a top wall. The drawer handle has a pivot wall that has an edge that is pivotable about the drawer top wall to allow the drawer handle to move between a drawer retention position and a drawer release position. When the handle is in the drawer retention position and the drawer is in a closed position, the catch member is coupled to the cabinet frame to maintain the drawer in the closed position. When the handle is in the drawer release position and the drawer is in the closed position, the catch member is decoupled from the cabinet frame to allow the drawer to move from the closed position to an open position.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 14, 2007Publication date: June 26, 2008Applicant: MASTER LOCK COMPANY LLCInventor: Robert J. Patent number: 6375235Abstract: A lock mechanism for a sliding drawer of the type mounted on telescopic slides in a cabinet includes a pivotal handle bar on the top front edge of the cabinet drawer front wall. The handle includes catch mechanisms biased for engagement with a strike extending from the drawer slides mounted on the inside of the cabinet. Manual rotation of the handle moves the handle and thus the catch mechanisms out of engagement with the strike enabling the cabinet drawer to be opened.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2000Date of Patent: April 23, 2002Assignee: Waterloo Industries, Inc.Inventor: Robert J. Patent number: 6109709Abstract: A combination cabinet and drawer construction includes a catch associated with the drawers that is cooperative with a biased, releasable locking bar. The locking bar is responsive to a cylinder lock actuated by a rod that engages the locking bar and rotates the bar to move it out of engagement with a leg of a drawer catch thereby releasing the drawer.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 1998Date of Patent: August 29, 2000Assignee: Waterloo Industries, Inc.Inventors: Greg Jon Holcomb, Steven Frederick Kohagen, Kent Charles Johnson, Robert J. Patent number: 5205381Abstract: An improved brake system for use on moveable tool storage cabinets, hospital crash carts and the like which is comprised of brakes and a brake actuator and a brake release means, both operatively connected to the brakes. The improved brake system additionally contains an actuator bracket, whereby the actuation of the brake actuator causes the actuator bracket to swing and use available leverage, thereby allowing the brake system to be actuated using minimal force and to allow for the easy adjustment of tension of the brake system. The brake actuator and the brake release are both foot operated as well as being remotely located from the brakes. The brake system is adjustable and is capable of being fitted with a plurality of brakes.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 1991Date of Patent: April 27, 1993Assignee: Waterloo Industries, Inc.Inventor: Robert J.
