  • Patent number: 11957526
Abstract: Methods, systems, and products monitor a person's regimen for medicinal and dietary restrictions. When the person's regimen requires a liquid medication or supplement, an oral instrument is commanded to dispense a dosage of fluid. The oral instrument stores a reservoir of the fluid. If the oral instrument is a spoon, for example, the spoon may automatically dispense cough syrup or other medicine. A toothbrush, likewise, may automatically dispense mouthwash. A sensor may confirm presence of the oral instrument in the person's mouth, thus ensuring the dosage of fluid is ingested.

  • Publication number: 20240106701
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for automatically provisioning customer-specific credentials on a gateway device, Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), or the like. A method, according to one implementation, includes the step of determining when a remote gateway device is connected to a Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) server via a network. The remote gateway device is intended to enable one or more user devices in a Local Area Network (LAN) to access the Internet via the network and PPPoE server. The method also includes the step of automatically configuring customer-specific PPPoE credentials on the remote gateway device to thereby enable the PPPoE server to authenticate the remote gateway device and grant Internet access.

  • Patent number: 11943679
Abstract: Location mapping and navigation user interfaces may be generated and presented via mobile computing devices. A mobile device may detect its location and orientation using internal systems, and may capture image data using a device camera. The mobile device also may retrieve map information from a map server corresponding to the current location of the device. Using the image data captured at the device, the current location data, and the corresponding local map information, the mobile device may determine or update a current orientation reading for the device. Location errors and updated location data also may be determined for the device, and a map user interface may be generated and displayed on the mobile device using the updated device orientation and/or location data.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to systems and methods for treatment of periimplantitis using ultraviolet light. In some embodiments, the ultraviolet light is ultraviolet c light with a wavelength between 100 and 280 nanometers. In some embodiments, the ultraviolet c light makes the surface of the implant hydrophilic and more receptive to cell protein attachment. In some embodiments, an apparatus for treating periimplantitis using ultraviolet light includes a handpiece with a flexible neck and a rotatable tip at the end of the flexible neck. In some embodiments, the handpiece includes a contra angle dental handpiece or a straight dental handpiece which can couple to and direct ultraviolet light from either an end firing tip or a side firing tip. • Patent number: 10940958
Abstract: Embodiments of the presently disclosed system include a thin thermoplastic or thermosetting polymer film loaded with non-polymeric inclusions that are susceptible to heating under a time-varying magnetic field. Insertion of this additional heating layer into a structural or semi-structural heterogeneous laminate provides an “on-demand” de-bonding site for laminate deconstruction. For example, in some embodiments when the heating layer is inserted between a cured Carbon-Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) layer and a Polymeric/Metallic film stackup layer, the heating layer can be selectively heated above its softening point (e.g., by using energy absorbed from a locally-applied time-varying magnetic field) to allow for ease of applique separation from the CFRP layer.
