  • Patent number: 9689196
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein generally relate to assembly equipment for window units. In one embodiment, a window unit assembly system is taught that has a frame component that is configured to support equipment for a window unit assembly line. A pane conveyor is supported by the frame component and is configured to move panes along the window unit assembly line. A spacer conveyor is supported by the same frame component as the pane conveyor and is configured to move spacer elements along the window unit assembly line.

  • Patent number: 4926331
Abstract: The truck operation monitoring system is mounted in a truck cab and comprises: a plurality of sensors each positioned to sense an operating parameter of the truck; at least one primary instrumentation module mounted in the truck cab and including a data processing apparatus, means for coupling the sensors to the processing apparatus, memory means coupled to the data processing apparatus for storing data picked up from the sensors, and display means coupled to the data processing apparatus; means for manually calling up information on the display means and/or for inputting information into the processing apparatus; and means for communicating the memory means with a larger data processing apparatus. The system can also include a secondary instrumentation module mounted in the truck cab and having second display means for displaying truck operating parameters. The means for calling up or inputting information can be realized by a keyboard on the secondary instrumentation module.

  • Patent number: 4862365
Abstract: An electrical instrumentation system comprises plural sensors that provide data signals representing values of parameters of interest to a CPU that in turn presents corresponding signals in multi-bit forms to corresponding indicator gauges. Each indicator gauge comprises a latching memory circuit in which the multi-bit data received from the CPU is latched, a free-running counting circuit, and a comparator circuit that compares the counting of the free-running counting circuit to the data in the latching memory circuit. The counter repeatedly counts from an initial to a final value, and when the comparator detects coincidence of the count to the latched data during each such counting interval, it switches the state of a bi-stable circuit. The bi-stable circuit assumes one state during the portion of each counting interval preceding the coincidence detection, and the other state during the portion of each interval succeeding the coincidence detection.

  • Patent number: 4739184
Abstract: A hand-held portable transducer simulator unit connects to a vehicle's instrumentation circuitry in substitution of the vehicle's own pressure and/or temperature transducers for diagnostic checking of the instrumentation circuitry. Various sets of adapter cables are available for use to connect the unit to the instrumentation circuitry depending upon the particular model and accessories involved. The unit simulates both pressure and temperature transducers and contains various resistor loads which are selectively presented to the instrumentation circuitry through use of a rotary selector switch on the face of the unit to simulate transducer response to various conditions. The information presented on the vehicle's instrumentation display is monitored for correspondence to the simulated conditions selected by the selector switch.
