  • Patent number: 6701514
Abstract: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for affording test maintenance in an automated scripting framework. First, a plurality of test scripts are developed. Then, the plurality of test scripts are stored in a centrally located database. A user is then allowed to edit a specific test script located on the centrally located database. Finally, the user edits to the specific test script are propagated to each of the plurality of test scripts.

  • Publication number: 20040006295
Abstract: The central part to an ACL/MCL absorption device is a spring latterly attached to either side of an elastic knee brace. The springs extend the length of the lateral sides of the brace thus shielding the ACL/MCL ligaments from outside forces to prevent injuries to these ligaments.

  • Patent number: 6502102
Abstract: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for affording a table-driven automated scripting architecture. First, test script information is divided into a plurality of components of one or more words having a commonly understood meaning. Then the components are stored into a database. Later, the components are parsed into one or more words (each having a commonly understood meaning). The database is queried for the words to retrieve a set of computer instructions that cause a computer to perform functions related to the commonly understood meaning of the words and then to perform those functions.

  • Patent number: 5941922
Abstract: A gear availability indicator for multi-gear transmissions of motor vehicles includes a signal processing unit for receiving input signals representative of vehicle speed and engine speed. The signal processing unit can determine a gear ratio value representative of the relationship between vehicle speed and engine speed for each gear in the vehicle transmission and can generate output signals for operation of a display. The display includes a first section displaying a range of acceptable engine speeds and a second section displaying gear symbols representative of gear ratio values. The displayed range of acceptable engine speeds and the displayed gear symbols are relatively moveable. The mutual alignment of the displayed range of acceptable engine speeds and one or more of the displayed gear symbols indicates that one or more gears represented by the one or more gear symbols are available for engagement in the transmission.

  • Patent number: 5164263
Abstract: Methods are described for preparing aluminum nitride of controllable morphology for ceramic and heat conduction applications. The methods comprise forming spherical particles or flakes of an intermediate, RAlNH, followed by heating the spheres or flakes of RAlNH at elevated temperatures to produce high purity aluminum nitride of corresponding morphology. Spheres of RAlNH are formed by (i) freezing a suspension of RAlNH in a liquid medium and thawing, by (ii) aging the suspension, or by (iii) dissolving RAlNH in a liquid medium and precipitating it. Flakes are formed by freezing a suspension of RAlNH in a liquid medium and removing frozen medium from the frozen suspension.

  • Patent number: 4969768
Abstract: A coupler to interconnect a number of pieces of equipment together comprising a number of attachment devices each adapted to be coupled to a piece of equipment, a number of arms connected at one end to an attachment device, and an adjustable arm rotation locking device interconnecting all the arms together at a desired orientation angle.

  • Patent number: 4908197
Abstract: Methods are described for preparing aluminum nitride of controllable morphology for ceramic and heat conduction applications. The methods comprise forming spherical particles or flakes of an intermediate, RA1NH, followed by heating the spheres or flakes of RA1NH at elevated temperatures to produce high purity aluminum nitride of corresponding morphology. Spheres of RA1NH are formed by (i) freezing a suspension of RA1NH in a liquid medium and thawing, by (ii) aging the suspension, or by (iii) dissolving RA1NH in a liquid medium and precipitating it. Flakes are formed by freezing a suspension of RAINH in a liquid medium and removing frozen medium from the frozen suspension.

  • Patent number: 4354677
Abstract: The device is preferably constructed in the form of a V-shaped buttocks support that may be used on a table or the like for support in a seated position, or on the floor for support in a supine position. From the vertex of the support each leg thereof is similarly contoured with high and low sections, including a high point at the vertex, to enable use of the device, by direct body contact therewith, in different body positions. In either seated or supine positions, the user can direct his or her body weight to various buttocks muscles with the assistance of leg motion to open and close the legs and thus direct contact with the device to different muscle areas. Thus, muscle contraction exercises can be performed with the legs in a stationary position to provide a toning and firming of the exercised muscles.

  • Patent number: 4010952
Abstract: A table game, which is played by two or four persons, using a ball and paddles, and wherein the playing surface is divided by a net into two courts, as in the game of table tennis. Apertures in the playing surface are provided for catching the ball and each aperture is overlapped by an associated platform set at an angle to the playing surface. The apertures and associated platforms in each court open towards the opponent's court. Markings on the playing surface designate courts and half courts, and a singles service path and a doubles service path.
