    Abstract: A stylus arranges permeable flakes in a dispersion medium. The stylus includes a magnet having at least one side. A sleeve is disposed around the side of the magnet. The sleeve is made of a ferromagnetic material and arranged to modify the magnetic flux of the magnet. At least a portion of the magnet extends out from the sleeve to interact with the permeable flakes.
