  • Publication number: 20180290313
Abstract: A folding knife is described herein. The folding knife includes a release actuator that provides three knife positions: a secured closed position, a secured open position, and an intermediate unsecured position in between the two secured positions, and that opens and closes the folding knife easily and safely. A triple-purpose pivot ring provides an index finger grip, an attachment point, and a pivoting mechanism. The release actuator allows for one-handed operation. A blade holder comprises a blade lock that has two positions, one of which locks the blade into position in the blade holder, while the other position unlocks it. The blade lock may be a push button that unlocks the blade while pressing it down, and that automatically return the lock into its locked position by action of a spring, in particular a leaf spring.

  • Patent number: 10071469
Abstract: A generally continuous cylindrical body where a first set of tools and a second set of tools are arranged at the proximate and distal ends of the body to rotate in a specific alternating 180 degree sequence in either an “L” mode or “screwdriver” mode for use. The tools are configured to be positioned at one or more hinge points by screws and shoulder screws. At a proximal end of the tool body, and at the tangent of the circumference of the body at the distal end of each tool; each tool is configured to rotate away from the body to a plurality of angles. The general cylindrical body also provides angled channels or walls with varying angular depths or tool slots where the tools are arranged and retained within the general cylindrical body.

  • Publication number: 20170312907
Abstract: A ratcheting or non-ratcheting bit driver with a bit storage or “cartridge” that fits in the hollow portion of the driver handle. The bit storage or “cartridge” enables access to bits from both ends of all bits at a perpendicular orientation to the main axis of the handle while contained within the handle. The device remains in one piece rather than separating the assembly into two pieces, a handle and a cartridge during use.

  • Publication number: 20170297853
Abstract: A tape dispenser with a handle providing an optimized grip handle in a parallel axis with the tape spool axis. A burnisher and tape end guide serves as a guard that covers the sharp teeth of the device when in the closed position. As the burnisher and tape end guide is held in the closed position it provides a support surface. This position allows space between the resting surface and the roller which, in combination with the tape end catch and the contact surface of the main body ensures that the adhesive tape does not stick to the resting surface. The tape end catch works in combination with the burnisher and tape end guide, return spring, tape end guide, and formed-in axis, counter-bored hole to capture the loose end of the tape once the blade cuts through the width of the tape.

  • Publication number: 20170232603
Abstract: A tool handle for holding multiple tools of different sizes during use. A wedge and body which, when placed together, creates a handle with a generally cylindrical shape and internal cavities for retaining hexagonal wrenches. A sliding wedge holds the hexagonal wrench and itself into place. A plurality of slots that allow each size tool to be indexed to the underside of the sliding member/wedge. There are two grouping arrangement of tools within the handle: a large group and a small group facing the opposite direction. The purpose for the two groups is to optimize the function of the wedge. If all of the tools were oriented in the same main slot then the smallest tools would not protrude from the end of the handle/body in a screwdriver mode to facilitate good function. Therefore the two groupings are arranged back to back to stabilize the tools laterally.

  • Patent number: 9725273
Abstract: A tape dispenser with an ellipsoid shaped handle providing an optimized grip handle in a parallel axis with the tape spool axis. The ellipsoid shaped handle of the present invention provides an optimized grip angle orientation for directly dispensing packaging tape. The ellipsoid shaped handle of the present invention provides greater freedom of angular movement, articulation, and force application while providing improved weigh distribution of the working components (handle, tape spool, and cut off device). The tape dispenser is comprised of: a u-shaped main body and arm, which are attached to a plurality of interior components removeably affixed between them by a plurality of screws. Interior components are a stem, small support, large support, blade, roller, cushion handle, tape end guide, blade, burnisher, and platen. The generally V-shaped main body defines a base structure for the dispenser to sit solidly on top of a flat, horizontal surface.
