    Abstract: Recyclable string and methods and apparatus for making the same are disclosed. The recyclable string is made by the disclosed apparatus from a strip of recyclable stretch film by twisting the stretch film about its longitudinal axis and stretching the twisted stretch film along its longitudinal axis, preventing the untwisting of the twisted stretch film. In a second version the srip is not twisted.
