  • Publication number: 20030005509
Abstract: The invention provides a head gear apparatus for use in combination with a conventional nasal mask. The head gear apparatus includes a first frame member and a second frame member. Each frame member includes a substantially rigid shaft between 2 to 3 inches in length with a frictionally resistive surface. A flange with a receiving member eyelet is secured to the lower ends of the shafts to secure the frame members to the lower attachment members of the mask. An extension with a receiving member eyelet is secured to the upper ends of the shafts at an obtuse angle to secure the frame members to the upper attachment member on the mask. A strap is received by the shaft of each frame member for retaining the nasal mask on a person's face.

  • Publication number: 20030001400
Abstract: The present invention is a hand-held gardening tool comprising a pair structural members having a head for use as an implement in gardening activities. The head is attached to one end of the structural members and includes a cultivating claw and a blade edge. A handle to be gripped by one hand during use in gardening activities is attached between the structural members at about the midpoint of their length. An adjustable arm strap for receiving the arm of a gardener is attached between the structural members near ends opposing the head.

  • Patent number: 6076576
Abstract: A wood splitter having an elongated beam including a center rail, a horizontally disposed top surface and a horizontally disposed bottom surface defining a pair of channels. A first push member is attached at an end of the beam. An elongated frame is position above the bottom surface of the beam and is movable along the longitudinal axis of the beam. Hydraulic cylinders within each of the channels operate to push a second push member attached at an end of the frame away from the first push member to cause a splitting wedge to engage a log supported by the top surface.

  • Patent number: 5617989
Abstract: Embodiments of a new apparatus for leveling solder contacts on printed circuit board panels are disclosed. A fluid is received by a platen and dispersed against a belt that engages the panel. A surface of the platen causes the pressure of the fluid to automatically adjust to the area of the panel by providing a series of parallel channels or holes in the surface.

  • Patent number: 5184517
Abstract: There is disclosed a printed circuit board text fixture and method for testing printed circuit boards. The test fixture and test method is designed to establish statistical information concerning the breaking force for and deflection of a printed circuit board when the printed circuit board is broken along pre-existing score lines. In particular, the test fixture comprises a support surface for the circuit board to be tested, a clamp for holding the circuit board in place, an alignment target for locating the score line on the circuit board with respect to the clamp, a force gauge for exerting and measuring a downward force on the circuit board until the circuit board breaks along the score line, and a travel indicator for indicating the maximum flex experienced by the circuit board just prior to breaking.

  • Patent number: 4856400
Abstract: There is disclosed a scoring cutter for scoring printed circuit boards to a uniform thickness. The scoring cutter has top and bottom circular blades set to a gap and rotatable in opposite directions to each other. Resilient wheels, four in number, having diameters slightly larger than the blades, are mounted for rotation with respect to the blades, one on each side of each blade. A circuit board is fed between the blades, and the resilient wheels position the circuit board in the gap between the blades.
