  • Publication number: 20240132293
Abstract: A feeding screw machine for feeding a processing screw machine comprises a housing with at least two housing bores formed therein and screw shafts rotatably arranged in the at least two housing bores. The at least two housing bores and the at least two screw shafts define a free volume in a respective cross-sectional plane, which decreases monotonically at least in some regions for continuous compression of a material in a conveying direction. This enables an improved supply of material with a low bulk density.

  • Publication number: 20050067742
Abstract: A blow molding apparatus comprises a base, a blow molding extruder, a carriage, and first and second molding stations. The carriage is movably mounted to the base in a manner such that the carriage is movable along a non-linear path between first and second positions relative to the extruder and in a manner such that the carriage maintains a constant rotational orientation relative to the base as the carriage moves along the non-linear path. Each of the first and second molding stations is mounted to the carriage in a manner such that the first and second molding stations move with the carriage relative to the base as the carriage moves along the non-linear path.

  • Publication number: 20040101143
Abstract: A method and system is disclosed for digitally demodulating an analog signal. In one example, the analog signal contains a L+R signal, a L−R signal centered around a carrier signal, and a pilot signal. An exemplary system for digitally demodulating such a signal includes an analog to digital converter, three digital filters, clock reconstitution circuitry, L−R signal recovery circuitry, and channel recovery circuitry. The analog to digital converter converts the analog signal into a digital signal. The three filters separate the L+R signal, the pilot signal, and the L−R signal from the digital signal. The clock reconstitution circuitry reconstitutes a clock signal from the separated pilot signal. The L−R signal recovery circuitry recovers the separated L−R signal using the reconstituted clock signal. The channel recovery circuitry recovers a left channel signal and a right channel signal from the separated L+R signal and the recovered L−R signal.

  • Patent number: 5953067
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus that transmits the stereo and the surround sound information of the L-R signal without excessive attenuation at the higher frequencies in order to allow transmission of surround sound through a noisy medium. The apparatus includes a surround sound conditioner coupled to receive a L-R signal portion of the television signal for pre-emphasizing and companding the L-R signal to produce a conditioned L-R signal; a mixer coupled to the surround sound conditioner for switching the conditioned L-R signal at a predetermined value to produce an amplitude modulated L-R signal; and a synchronizing circuitry coupled to the mixer for maintaining the predetermined value in step with the reference value, wherein the mixed L-R signal is combined with a L+R signal portion of the television signal to produce a composite output signal.

  • Patent number: 5691991
Abstract: A process for diagnosing test result data produced during boundary scan testing of a circuit device having a plurality of boundary scan latches at endpoints interconnected in a plurality of nets. The process identifies the particular endpoint that is defective out of all the endpoints in a defective net so that a repair can be efficiently directed to the identified endpoint. The process looks for recognizable patterns of failures in failure data resulting from each test pattern in a boundary scan test, particularly the symptom pattern of a failed endpoint that fails to drive all other endpoints on the net when acting as a driver and fails to receive data from all other endpoints when acting as a receiver.

  • Patent number: 5408313
Abstract: An optical interface coupler for coupling a flow cell to an optical absorption analyzer. The flow cell and analyzer are operable to transmit light through a fluid flowing through a chamber within the cell and analyze the transmitted light for determining certain optical properties of the fluid. The cell includes a first port through which light from a first fiber optic cable is transmitted to the chamber and a second port through which transmitted light is received and transmitted to a second fiber optic cable connected to the optical absorption analyzer. The optical interface coupler comprises a housing and a lens. The housing is releasably attachable to the cell at one of the first and second ports and defines an optical pathway therein. A cable port is in the housing for receiving one of the first and second fiber optic cables, and is in optical communication with the optical pathway.
