It has a large surface area so that a child can play on it, sleep on it, sit on it, and wrap himself in it. It is designed to provide visual and tactile stimulation. It may be used as a toy, a puppet, or as a decorative object. It may be used in the treatment of tactually defensive children to overcome their fears of being touched. Its large surface area facilitates the development of good feelings needed to produce the treatment goal.
