Patent number: 5900679Abstract: According to the present invention, a lighting control circuit is provided in which various logic gates, transistors and other smaller-scale circuit elements are combined. The circuit receives as inputs the control signals from the vehicle, including the left and right indicator signals, the brake signal and the tail light signal. Each of these signals is fed into a first bank of logic gates whose outputs are supplied to a second bank of logic gates, whose output is in turn supplied to two transistors, each connected to a separate single filament bulb, one for the left side of the vehicle and the other for the right side.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 1998Date of Patent: May 4, 1999Assignee: Maximum Products Inc.Inventors: Robert Lake, William E. Patent number: 5656985Abstract: An electronic surface mount package provides a one piece construction package (with an open bottom) with one or more terminal pins molded into the package. Each of the pins have a notched post upon which a wire is wound which is from a toroid transformer carried within the package. Each of the posts are notched so their respective wires are separate from one another so as to prevent arcing. The case is opened at the bottom which prevents harm from expansion or cracking.Type: GrantFiled: August 10, 1995Date of Patent: August 12, 1997Assignee: Halo Electronics, Inc.Inventors: Peter Lu, Jeffrey Heaton, James W. Patent number: 5523546Abstract: An inductive device can heat a body having a slender bore, with an inductor assembly that includes a coolant system. The assembly has a parallel pair of elongate inductors sized to fit deep inside the bore. Each of these inductors has a distal end and a proximal end. The distal ends of the inductors can be electrically interconnected. These inductors are adapted at their proximal ends to connect to a source of current for circulating current along the inductors. The coolant system is adapted to communicate with a source of coolant to circulate coolant along the inductors. The inductors are inserted through the bore of the body to lie lengthwise, without coiling, along the length of the bore. Coolant can then be pumped along the elongate inductors. Then by driving alternating current to flow through the inductors, magnetic coupling to the body occurs to produce heating effects.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 1995Date of Patent: June 4, 1996Assignee: Mannings, U.S.A., Inc.Inventor: Robert Lake
