    Abstract: Systems and methods provide active control of rotor cooling. In a number of embodiments, a system includes a controller coupled with an electric machine having a rotor. The controller evaluates parameters related to the electric machine for flow rate requirements of the rotor, where the flow rate requirements relate to cooling of the rotor. A flow rate of a fluid for cooling the rotor is computed, where the flow rate is based on a composite of the flow rate requirements. A control valve signal is delivered to set a control valve to supply the flow rate to the rotor based on the parameters.

The method includes determining whether the filename is reserved and determining an administrative action according to the file, responsive to determining that the filename is reserved.     Abstract: A phasing system for an internal combustion engine having a concentric camshaft includes an annular stator rotatable by the crankshaft and having inner and outer circumferences, and two groups of arcuate cavities. The first group interrupts the inner circumference. A first phaser having an output member as a hub is mounted within the stator in contact with the inner circumference and supported directly on the camshaft tube as a concentric stator bearing. The first phaser has vanes connected to the output member and extending radially into the first group to divide cavities into opposed working chambers. A second phaser comprises first and second end plates at opposite stator sides and fastened to one another to axially seal the cavities therein and, as second output member of the second phaser, connect to vanes extending axially through the second group of cavities to divide the cavities into opposed working chambers.

The method includes applying a shear force to a plugging mixture including a plurality of inorganic particles, clay, and a liquid vehicle to alter the viscosity of the plugging mixture from a first viscosity prior to the vibrating to a second viscosity which is less than the first viscosity. A honeycomb body is placed into contact with the plugging mixture such that a portion of the plugging mixture having the second viscosity flows into the plurality of channels. Application of the shear force is stopped or reduced to increase the viscosity of the portion of the plugging mixture in the plurality of channels to greater than the first viscosity.

    Abstract: Non-sliding orthodontic appliances may include an archwire having male fasteners for locking in place with brackets in a non-sliding manner and interproximal loops for exerting forces on the brackets. Appropriate forces may be calculated according to vectors between initial and ideal tooth positions. The brackets may be transferred to a patient's teeth using indirect bonding trays which contain slots for holding and aligning each bracket. The trays may include integrated handles for facilitating handling, may be sectioned into smaller pieces for easier application, and/or may be labeled for facilitating proper registration. Superposition of a digital placement plan and clinical model after bonding may illustrate the accuracy of bracket placement. The archwire may comprise atraumatic ends to avoid patient discomfort. A color registration system can be used to facilitate the attachment of the archwire to the brackets. The archwire may be locked into place with the brackets using crimpable stops.

The top surface is illuminated to expose the first composition and the second composition to light having a polymerization wavelength, thereby causing polymerization of the layer of the part only in the shape area where the second composition was dispensed.
