Patent number: 6991724Abstract: The filter assembly for a fuel checker includes a filter housing, a removable screen assembly, a first protective cap and a second protective cap. The filter housing includes a fuel receiving end portion and a fuel exiting end portion. The fuel receiving end portion is shaped to securely attach to a fuel checker. The filter housing defines a volume for containing checked fuel. A removable screen assembly is securely attachable to the fuel exiting end portion. The removable screen assembly includes a flexible screen housing and a filter screen supported by the flexible screen housing. The filter screen is a barrier to water and desired particulate debris. A first protective cap fits over the fuel receiving end portion for containing evaporative fumes while the filter assembly is being stored. A second protective cap fits over the removable screen assembly and protects the screen when the filter assembly is being stored.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2003Date of Patent: January 31, 2006Inventors: Robert M. Patent number: 6079158Abstract: The assembly includes an integral corner door and a latch assembly, the latch assembly including a user acuatable element, a dog-ear element, a cam receiving element and a door extension. The integral corner door has a hinging portion hingedly connected to a first surface of the housing and a latching portion perpendicular to the hinging portion connectable to a second surface of the housing. The user actuatable element has a user manipulative portion and a rotatable shaft affixed thereto. The user manipulative portion is positioned on the second surface of the housing. The shaft extends through an opening through the second surface. The dog-ear element of the latch assembly is securely affixed to the shaft. The dog-ear element has a first hooked end and a second end. The first hooked end forms a recess. The hooked end has a terminal cam portion. The second end includes a door disengaging portion.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 1998Date of Patent: June 27, 2000Assignee: Claney Systems International, Inc.Inventor: Robert M. Brodbeck

Patent number: 5359905Abstract: A hand-manipulative apparatus is disclosed for receiving a specimen of the fuel tank contents of a fuel tank. The apparatus comprises an elongated body of substantially circular cross-section. The body is fabricated of transparent molded material and is open at its upper end. The body is of tubular character through a portion of its length for defining a fuel-receiving compartment having a central axis and communicating with the open upper end of the body. The body has spaced-apart indentations in its upper end edge for alignment and cooperation with associated actuating arms of a pet cock drain valve, if such a pet cock drain valve is utilized. The tubular portion is closed at its lower end portion. A resilient semi-rigid rod is removably attached at a first end to the lower end portion of the tubular portion.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 1992Date of Patent: November 1, 1994Inventor: Robert M. Patent number: 5006002Abstract: Portable printing apparatus is disclosed that includes a portable, weather-proof housing adapted to be carried by a user as by a shoulder strap. The housing is made up of two separable housing sections joined at releasable interfitting weather-proof joints which contains and supports for transport a printer as well as the electric circuits including an onboard microprocessor on a circuit board to store data and operate the printer and a battery to power the circuits and printer. The housing has an access opening which enables sheets that are printed on to be placed in the housing. A combination sheet tray and support wall for the printer is releasably fastened to the inside of the housing. A slidable cover is mounted to slide in a wall of the housing and is arranged to cover the top of the tray and enclose and protect the sheets in the tray against the weather. The electric circuit enables command signals to be input to operate the printer and the microprocessor to store data to operate the printer.Type: GrantFiled: April 11, 1989Date of Patent: April 9, 1991Assignee: Clancy Systems International, Inc.Inventor: Robert M. Patent number: 4595798Abstract: Improved telephone number input terminal devices for memory stored dialing data for automatic dialing have a divided housing (12) with an upper section (13) that is readily attached to and removed from a base section (14) so that a printed circuit board (61) which carries a plurality of electric elements (17) may be made inexpensively and readily assembled. A single electric element (51) is carried on the card finder (25) which is slidable on and retained by an enlarged end portion of the cover (22) for the index cards. Light emitting diodes and Hall effect devices are examples of preferred electric elements that may be used in the switch means to effect the electric switching required.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 1984Date of Patent: June 17, 1986Assignee: Marcamor, Inc.Inventor: Robert M. Brodbeck

Patent number: 4409440Abstract: A combined telephone index and switch arrangement for memory stored repertory for dialing data for automatic dial telephone systems, having a plurality of light sensitive diodes each keyed to a card in a card selector which selects a corresponding individual card of a multiple card index. A light source with a fiber optic secured to the selector transmits light from the light source to the card selector and to the diode for each card. Individual buttons corresponding to individual index lines of the displayed card can be manually activated to retrieve a telephone number stored in the memory for automatic dialing thereof.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 1981Date of Patent: October 11, 1983Assignee: Marcamor, Inc.Inventor: Robert M. Brodbeck

Patent number: 4408101Abstract: A telephone number index and switch device has a series of magnetic switches which are located in fixed positions with corresponding surfaces disposed along a preestablished path of movement of a card finder associated with cards having names and telephone numbers. A magnetic actuator is carried by the card finder but is not in physical contact with the magnetic switches for successively actuating the magnetic switches. A second switch separate and independent from the magnetic switches is used to complete the automatic dialing once a number is selected from the index and a magnetic switch has been actuated.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 1982Date of Patent: October 4, 1983Assignee: Marcamor, Inc.Inventor: Robert M.
