Abstract: A leg sling (10) for supporting a patient's leg includes a leg portion (16) connectable with the patient's leg and a shoulder portion (12) extensible across a shoulder of the patient to transfer weight from the leg sling to the patient's shoulder. An elastic intermediate portion (14) is connected between the leg portion (16) and the shoulder portion (12) to transfer weight from the leg portion to the shoulder portion. In one embodiment, a first connector (70) releasably connects the intermediate portion (14) of the leg sling (10) with the shoulder portion (12) of the leg sling. A second connector (90) releasably connects the intermediate portion (14) of the leg sling (10) with the leg portion (16) of the leg sling.

Abstract: A work piece stock holding member that can be adjusted by a single handle or adjustment nut usable with a conventional channeled toggle clamp fixed to a working surface. The holding member has an internally and externally threaded collar having a single piece joined clamp engaging unitary washer. The collar's internal threads are received by the external threads of an inserted supporting bolt. An upper end adjustment handle is fixed to the supporting bolt to rotate in unison with the bolt. The vertical adjustment of the holding member relative to the working piece is performed by rotating this bolt's upper handle. On one side of the clamp's channel is another separate holed washer which bears against one side of the clamp, moves on its hole pass the central bolt and bears against an adjustment nut mount on the collar's external upper threads.

Abstract: A solid/liquid separation apparatus in which a downwardly-inclined separator screen is supported across the open front face of a liquid collection chamber. The screen and chamber are mounted in an outer frame having spaced side walls. The screen has separate upper and lower sections and is adjustably mounted on at least one of the side walls at a position intermediate the upper and lower ends of the screen so that it can be moved inwardly and outwardly in a direction transverse to the plane of the screen to adjust the relative vertical angles of screen sections. In one version, the upper and lower screen sections are separate screens and are adjustable via separate adjustment mechanisms.
